Some reviews complained about putting it together. But it was actually super easy and way sturdier than I imagine. Not bad quality for price! The toy chest has a slow closing lid, which was a nice surprise as my 3 1/2 year old twin boys SLAM things and the chest won’t SLAM! WARNING: the cushioned bookshelf is waaaay smaller than expected! It’s sturdy and cute…but one of my 3 1/2 year olds barely fit in it! There is no way kids can lay down in that. It’s actually half the size of what you expect….so take out tape measure and measure the dimensions so see how small it is brocade you pay for it and put it together. They came in and were very sturdy and easy to assemble. I love the safety on the toy box so it doesn't smash little fingers. I will probably replace or make a cover for the cushion on the bookshelf cause it doesn't match my son's room. But other than that we love this set.

We have 3 kids 6 and under. They all love these shelves and toy box. It’s great to sit on and they can curl up on the cushions! The only downside about the cubbie holes is that they are irregularly shaped and it’s near impossible to find bins for storage to fit them!

This is just what I was looking for. As noted it is kid sized. I did not have trouble fitting my son's board books and toys in the compartments and the seat is the right size for a child. The construction was pretty easy but one of the scree locks wouldn't catch and broke part of the particleboard but it still looks and works fine. For the price and knowing I'm. We got this yesterday and I love it! My boys love it too ( they are 2 & 4)! Its a perfect little seat for them to sit and read books or play on their leap pads. The shelving boxes are a little smaller then I expected but fit the height of most of their books. Larger books fit on the top shelves. We filled the cubbies with books, puzzles and games. It was very easy to put this together. I did it myself in about 20 minutes or so. The only negative is my boys keep fighting over the seat! ... show more

The scale of this product is smaller than I anticipated but it is perfect for my four year old grandson. I've placed it in front of his window in his room. It makes for a perfect reading nook. Overall I am pleased with the product.

Super cute for little kids! My 2 year old and 9 month old already love it! It is small but I wanted something of that size to go infront of the window for them. You can fit a lot in the cubbies too!
