This was perfect for my 7 year old daughter. It was tight like spandex but not too tight so it resembled the actual ‘Gwen Stacey’ character too. The hands were removable while still staying firmly attached to the costume. The facial mask thingy was also removable so your child can wear the mask or not with the hood on or off and the mask itself was very lightweight and breathable and my daughter could see very well through it. She thought it was so comfortable she didn’t want to take it off! The colors were vibrant and accurate! Very very good purchase! The zipper was pretty good through two days of wear but by the time I washed it, the material looked stretched out and close to ripping. The negative first. Runs small. My daughter is 57” tall and I ordered her an extra large. It’s hard to get on lengthwise. And the zipper opening is kind of narrow so we had to be careful getting her arms and shoulders in. I feel like if there were just a few more inches of zipper it would be fine. The positive. It has good colors and the quality of the material is nice. It’s a little thicker than others we’ve had and feels more durable. I have typically not liked costumes with the gloves attached, they get so dirty. But these gloves are nice because they are shaped well and there is a little spot in the wrist that you can put your hand through and take the glove “off”. Great costume, runs true to the sizing chart, but big for the typical size #. I am middle-aged, but small, 5'0" 105 lbs, and sometimes need to buy girls 12-14. Based on the sizing chart, I bought a Girls 7-8 (med). Seemed crazy to me, but it fits great, comfortable and not too tight (still a little long, but manageable). The medium fits my 7 year old. Unfortunately, the zipper broke and the fabric started coming undone when she tried it on. Jazwares wouldn't help, so thankfully Amazon allowed an exchange outside the regular return period. This costume just about ruined my daughter's Halloween because she could not wear it to a Halloween event. The costume itself is well-designed even if not well-made. It's very authentic looking -- more than other Spider Gwen costumes I've seen. I like how the gloves come off for eating. I wish it zipped in the front so kids could take it on and off independently. I love this sooo much. I ordered a size 6x for my daughter. She’s 6 years old, 55 pounds, and 50” tall. The back zipper doesn’t go down long enough so I cut a little bit of the stitches on the top and bottom so we could squeeze her in. It’s slim fitting, not baggy. If u want a less snug fitted look order a size up. For example, She normally wears a size m (7-8) but I ordered a s (6x-7) for a snug fitted look. But the design is top tier!
