So far so good. I love gold jewelry and have collected some over the years from family and purchasing some of my own from travels abroad or something nice I see at a jewelry shop here in LA. Lately I haven’t wanted to drop a lot of money on jewelry and figured I’d look up gold plated jewelry. This is my first gold plated piece and it blends well with my other gold jewelry. I asked my mom who also wears a lot of gold if she could tell what was gold plated and what wasn’t and she said no. So far it’s also good in the shower and hasn’t turned colors or irritated my neck. I was worried about that because I travel a lot and am always in ocean water so I wouldn’t want to go in the water with a gold necklace and come out with a green necklace or over time it fades from salt water. I might even do an experiment with homemade salt water although I know it won’t be exactly the same. Ordered a second one. Will update if the necklaces start to turn or reacts to something I didn’t mention above.

I was unsatisfied with 4mm 14k Yellow Gold Plated Cuban Curb Link Chain with Lobster Clasp, 24" + Jewelry Polishing Cloth -- though it was a heavier chain, brass was used as the base metal and the quality of the links was poor. This necklace from KEZEF is a far superior product. The links are solid, soldered closed, so I feel I can trust that it will not break under the stress of an emergency help button. The polish is IMO not as good, but the color is that nice 18K deep yellow, and it is stamped 925 silver. In short, it's a better product at a lower price. I'm going to wear it for a few days before I give it to my mom. I'll report any problems.

I am returning this product, it was not what I ordered. A few weeks ago I ordered an 18k Gold over silver 1mm Box Chain necklace. Was so happy with it, i ordered what I thought was a longer version of the necklace. The do not match. If you could help me get what I thought I was purchasing, would make me very happy. Will be taking the wrong one to the Post Office tomorrow to return.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. This chain looks manly and not chunky or too "gaudy" looking. Perfect width. Since it is plated, as someone who used to work in jewelry store, I would recommend to be careful while wearing it - avoid putting perfume on it, shower with it and excessively polish it. With proper care, I think this product will last long time! Also, this rose gold shade works perfectly with Eastern European yellow gold (especially higher gold probe).

Had the rise gold one and it looked great, not fake looking. Being it's sterling silver with a plaiting it actually is legitimate. Got myself the sterling silver one (without the gold plaiting) as it looks more professional to wear at work. I truly believe it's actual sterling silver too, a lot of the fake "sterling silver" ones you find for like 10 bucks are fake. Another perk to sterling vs stainless steel is the shine too. I've had stainless before and it just isn't the same and after a year of wearing it actually starts to rust gross. Big up.
