Hard to find keys and to open one specific one out, hard to manipulate key to use in the lock you wish to open. Then to turn it to open a door becomes a real chore. I loved this KeySmart up until about a week ago when I tried to unlock my door and it caused a crack to force on the base where the screws go. All in all it still functions mostly the same, except a tad too loose now. But I'm afraid to tighten it or try too hard to open a stubborn lock because it seems likely to cause more damage. Aside from this damage, it's been a phenomenal product, but I'm definitely disappointed that, what should be the sturdier part of the product, broke so quickly. ... show more

Does fit my car key the one I use the most the key is to long for this and to bulky maybe this works with small keys but doesn’t work for my car keys ***UPDATE*** Five minutes latter and now I can’t find the screw they’re are not magnetized everything is a pain in the ass I through the thing across my work bench I say make a quality product I could make this better for one don’t use plastic use titanium or carbon steel second make it longer so that the keys fit in both directions ... show more

I bought 2 and one was delivered defective. I bought one from keysmart directly and the one from Amazon arrived defective! The button you press twice to ring your phone was pressed in and i couldn't get it to work because of that. So all this is good for is using the key storage. Nope! Got tomorrow off, im sending this POS back. And honestly, the one that does work. It only rings my phone when i have it unlocked... At that point, its not lost, its in my hands. That is a very important selling point and it doesnt work with the phone locked, which is what happens after 30 seconds of not being used. Do not buy! It doesnt look as good in person. The first thought that ran through my mind when i first laid eyes on... Thats it? This cheaply made plastic POS looks like its worth 15 dollars. Not the actual 60 dollars you pay for it. Great concept, shit design. Knowing what I know now, I wont rebuy. If I could, id get my money back. Buyers beware ... show more

I purchased this and received the item relatively fast. It's just as described, a smart keychain. Pros: -Great organizational tools -Very sleek design -Flashlight helps a lot at night -Tile functionality is great to find your keys quickly. Cons: -Materials are cheap plastics (For a $60+ keychain I expect at least premium material) -Materials (I know I stated it twice, every time I use the keychain I feel like it's gonna break on me since I could feel the material has a lot of give to it, again for an item at this price point it's a shame that they want to go this route and use cheaper material to make their item) -The placements of the Flashlight and Tile button are (Oblivious), every time I use the keychain I always hits either the flashlight button or the tile button ( those beeps gets annoying after a couple of times) -Getting the keys out is a hassle to say the least. All in all I think it's a good buy, would absolutely loved this keychain if the materials used are stronger and more sturdy (Higher quality). There are some things that should be redesigned, but overall a good item to have rather than those jiggling keys on your pockets. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Find a better quality material for this item, if you think about it... It's a $60+ keychain (A KEYCHAIN) the least you could do is build it better than this.... I don't know how long this will last me. But I will keep you guys updated on the condition (I feel like it could breaks on me at any time) ... show more

Thing is almost worthless when it comes to finding your keys. You cannot hear the weak find me sound unless the thing is in your hands. The app is just short of bloatware. When you are frantically trying to locate your keys the app is more concerned with asking all kinds of questions about where you've been. Basically the same things your mate will ask when you lose your keys, except a mate would be helpful. The light adds pretty much NO VALUE because it's under powered. It's too late for me to return this overpriced marketing joke but it's not too late for you! This thing will only be a rock in your pocket until you actually lose your keys. Then it will become be a rock laying someplace with your keys laughing at you because "they" now have your keys, tracking info on YOU, and your money. Don't make the same mistake I made. Avoid this thing like the plague and opt for something non-intrusive that will make a loud sound to tell you where your keys might be and doesn't waste time prompting you to answer useless questions! ... show more

    • Clever idea but not worth the price or the aggravation

I was really intrigued with this product and debated between the basic version and this version which includes a LED light, a can opener and the Tile functionality. Here are my thoughts on the product which I ultimately returned: 1. The product is over priced, you’re really paying for the Tile 2. It’s too easy to turn the LED light on without knowing it which could drain the battery if you’re not paying attention 3. The description said a ring was included to attach a key fob but there wasn’t one in the package 4. The product description says it can hold today’s car keys with the large black piece at the end and while I was able to put it on the product, I had to keep it on one side by itself and put my other keys on the other side to balance the height. The biggest issue was that my car key couldn’t retract fully into the product so be sure to measure the length of your keys! 5. Putting the keys on the product was really annoying because the post that you put them on is extremely short and it’s hard to keep everything lined up while you insert the screws. ... show more
