This dress runs true to size. I can't believe how well this dress fits. It is so flattering and well made. The sleeves are flattering, the neckline is great and the slit is not too high. However, it really looks like a bridesmaid dress. But I still highly recommend it based on fit and construction.

I am happily surprised at the quality and weight of the fabric. The design is obviously tailored to this fabric and how it moves. It flows beautifully and is so very flattering. Seriously. Even without smoothing (and thinning, let's be honest) shapewear, the dress skims all the right places and magically hides obtrusive lumps and bumps. The open leg is sexy as heck and somehow features one's shapely calf and disguises a shapely (in a rather different way) thigh. If I could trust my ability to keep my stomach sucked in, I would wear this dress sans shapewear without even a second thought. It's an excellent quality garment, and I'm sure it'll be a great dress for years to come. My only complaint is that it doesn't have pockets. (But pockets might ruin the lines and flow of the dress?)

As others have stated, this dress is long. I ordered the 18 Plus size in Wine Red color for $37.99. I typically wear size 18 pants and am 5' 6" tall. As soon as I tried this dress on, I stepped on the back of it! However, in fairness, I was wearing socks--not shoes. With a pair of 2"+ heels, this will be a perfect length for me. It is actually quite a beautifully-styled dress for Plus Sized women. It's overall flattering, flowy, stretchy, and comfortable AND is easy to care for! What more can you ask for from a dress?! It is 100% polyester, so it washes and dries easily in your washing machine and dryer. The Wine Red color is just as you might envision. The sleeves and neckline are flattering for younger to middle-aged women. The length in the back is longer than in the front and features a split mermaid hem showing just a bit of leg when you walk! The empire waistline sits higher than your normal waistline and cascades outwards with plenty of room to flow over larger waistlines. The dress design is super flattering for Plus Size women. 100% polyester has its pluses and minuses. On the "plus" side, it is easy to care for, is lightweight, packs well, and doesn't typically need ironing. On the "minus" side, it's . . . well . . . polyester! Polyester can look and feel a bit cheap, but that's the price you pay for all of the other "pluses" I mentioned about this Plus Sized dress! Overall, I feel this lovely dress deserves a 5-star rating -- especially if you can pick it up for under $40!

I am always on the hunt for a simple dress that can be casual or dressed up. The material is soft to the touch. It stretches and feels nice on. The only reason for four stars instead of five is I need to be about 6 inches taller. I only recommend this for taller women as to hem this dress would be difficult and not worth the time or cost. I am 5’3 and you can see in the picture, I am standing on my toes and it still is dragging. This is a size 18 dress. I would only recommend if you are at least 5’8.
