I love this versatile slipper! This is my second pair and the arch support is wonderful for my feet. I can wear them outside to get the mail or a quick trip to the store and if they get dirty I can wash them off — they dry quickly. The only caveat I have is that I had to buy the smallest size in men’s this time because they were out of my size in women’s. It worked out, they fit well enough. This is a handsome, well-made, winter slip-on, which is waterproof, and well-priced for value. It's warm and grippy. My one complaint is that there is about one inch of material in the heal area, which often requires you to reach down to pull over your heal. What is this item? A shoe? A slipper? It’s whatever you want it to be! I purchased these to wear around my office as my “office slipper shoe” and it excels in this role, especially in the winter. I’ll wear my boots in and then slip into these for comfort and warmth. My office isn’t very dressy and is a small team so it works just fine. These fit true to size and are warm without being blistering. The support isn’t what you’d find in something like a Keen Targhee, but that should be clear simply by looking at it. It provides a moderate support, but if you need more (like me) you can swap out the insole for a more supportive one. I do wish the insole was a cozier one - this is your typical rubberized feel. A felt lined or wool lined one like the upper would shift this closer into slipper territory, but frankly, I think it would be a welcomed edition. My foot runs on the narrow side but still fits well in this keen. The adjustable loop does its job well enough, but this is a slide so movement is a given. I’m eager to test this out during camping season as these seem tailor made for a cozy outdoor slipper with a rugged enough sole for the campsite.
