I am so happy I bought these leather platform Keds for myself. I’m 52 and feel they are the right blend of trendy and timeless too- if that’s possible 😊 They are true to size, and comfortable. I haven't worn "platform" shoes in years, not to mention these look just like a pair I wore in the late 90s when I was like 13. I LIVE in Converses but accidentally left my white leather pair at a friend's house and didn't know how long I'd have to wait before I got them back, so out of my impatientness I decided to order these since they were about half the price of a new pair of Converses. I wore regular canvas Keds as a teen during my auxiliary band/color guard days where comfort was a requirement, so I trusted these would at least be that. Of course they're lovely and bright out of the box, something about brand new white shoes just gets me every time. The leather is of thick good quality and really smooth with the trademark Keds minimal design so cleanings should be relatively simple. They're comfortable to wear even though I have wide feet and should wear wide widths; thankfully there was no discomfort whatsoever after wearing these for several hours. However, like another reviewer mentioned, I rolled my ankle several times. Maybe I'm just not used to wearing platforms anymore, but omg I cannot count how many times I rolled my ankle even while just walking regularly on flat ground (not including the times I climbed up into or jumped out of my truck, walked up and down steps/stairs, or walked over rocks and gravel)! I don't know what the problem is but it's a little concerning, so much that I may end up returning them for that reason alone. Otherwise, they're cute and comfy and decently priced. ... show more

I love the white on white with the gold accents, and that’s why I purchased these. I was looking for leather so they would be easy to clean, and the gold was a bonus since you don’t see that on most shoes. Unfortunately these shoes are all looks. Within 15 minutes my feet were uncomfortably tight feeling since these shoes run narrow (and I have narrow feet!) Within and hour my heels were raw feeling, and the longer I wore them blisters formed. I must have only worn these a total of about 2 hours, maybe a little longer, and the blisters popped. I had raw sensitive skin scraping the heels of these shoes with each step. My only relief was folding the heels in and wearing them like mules until I got home to take them off. Foolishly I gave these shoes a second chance, but I wore large bandages on my heels under my socks to protect myself this time. After about an hour I was experiencing all the same sensations - too tight and my heels were burning. When I looked down my socks were discolored so I feared I was bleeding again despite the bandages. Turns out the bandages saved my heels from more blisters, but the tan leather lining inside the heels of the shoes discolored my white socks. These were a waste of money and ruined my day twice. I purchased a half size up and don’t believe that ordering an even bigger size would solve my problems with these shoes. Do NOT recommend!!! ... show more
