I had another version of these shoes - leather keds with a regular sole. They were super cute and easy to care for (Mr Clean sponge makes them look like new!). Those had super uncomfortable backs that rubbed my heels to a point of bleeding and were impossible to wear without large band-aids... I read some reviews about these shoes and were worried they have the same issues, but nope, I walked a lot in them and didn't experience the same problem, the backs are soft and don't hit me in the wrong spot. I also wore them with a half SuperFeet insert. I like how they look on my small feet, they are narrow and kinda delicate unlike many sneakers that just look weird on me. I bought these after someone returned them. I’m a true 6.5 & was leery about not sizing up to a 7. Glad I didn’t. This shoe is TRUE to SIZE, but has a narrow toe box (tapered toe). If you have a narrow foot, like mine, then the sizing will be perfect. Even enough room for a sock! If your foot is average or wide, you may need to go up at least a half size.
