This wallet-style purse is just the right size to hold an iPhone plus a few other essentials like a compact, keys, and lipstick. The strap is adjustable so it can be worn as a cross body, hanging long from the shoulder, or hanging short from the shoulder. It can also be slipped off so the bag could be used as a clutch, or even as a wallet placed inside a larger bag. The white color is descried as "true white", and it is white but I do not find it to be a blindingly "white" white, if that makes sense. There is a tinge of softness to the white which I find to be an important distinction. While the name of the bag has the word "wallet", a wallet is usually a rectangular prism with a very slim profile. This bag has a purse shape that is wider at the bottom than the top, as well as the full flap that makes it more of an "envelope" bag. The purse is made of super fine grain leather, and Italy is listed as the country of origin. The leather is so fine grain that it looks perfectly smooth and a drop of water beads on its surface rather than soaks in. The trim of the bag appears to be polyurethane (aka PU or synthetic leather), so the edges are smooth, glossy and sealed rather than fibrous and irregular. I do wonder if this bag is treated with a coating, because of how smooth the surface is, and how water does not absorb. Genuine leathers with wax coating are produced in Italy by top fashion brands; this might be one. But it does claim to be fine grain leather, and I do trust the Kate Spade brand. The label has the words "PE" which can mean "polyurethane embossed" or "polyurethane exterior." Another concern is that the bag is mis-listed as having faille fabric interior printed with the ksny logo. It does not. The interior is beige leather, which again looks to be treated. That said, if there was faille fabric interior, or the bag was made of pure leather, then the clearly embossed pattern and the scalloped edge that give this bag its charm would be difficult to execute cleanly. And I, for one, LOVE the style of this bag. The pattern of laser-cut floral lace has a mandala-inspired design that is reminiscent of snowflakes, doilies, or Spanish tiles. The scalloped edge adds a delicate feminine touch. The gold embossed "kate spade NEW YORK" log enhances the overall elegant and modern aesthetic. The strap is very well made, the gold tone hardware elements including bag chain and magnetized snap closure are beautiful quality, and the bag's function is perfect for a bag dainty enough to wear with a silk chiffon dress but just big enough to throw over a jean jacket for running errands. *If* the bag is coated in something, then that will only add to my ability to keep it clean and keep it scratch resistant. It appears to have good durability. The stitching on the bag is perfect., on exterior, interior and along both sides of the strap. All in all, a beautiful, elegant and versatile bag that can be used as anything from a large wallet to a crossbody, with perfect fabrication and durable soft-white material that should hold up well under long use. While I feel a little confused as a consumer by how the bag is described in the listing and the label, and I would like the purse to come with a storage bag, I have a feeling I will wear this bag a hundred different ways with a hundred different outfits. It will probably be my go-to wedding and summer event bag, but I also can imagine it for a concert, a picnic in the park, a girls weekend, etc. Its really lovely!

Got this for my wife who is not a purse snob, but genuinely loved the look and style of this purse. She has been wanting a small white/beige colored purse to carry when she dresses up in the spring/summer. She is thrilled with this one! The size is big enough to handle her Samsung S24 Ultra in it's bulky wallet case + a lipstick or other small item. However, she doesn't really need to have the phone in the wallet case, because the purse itself acts as a wallet w/ 4 credit card/ID card slots and a long slot for bills. So, she could potentially fit a lot more in the main section if she just puts the phone in there without the case. There is also a pocket in front that can hold a couple tissues or something and a pocket on the back that can hold any other flat items. It also has an adjustable strap to fit different sizes. I will say that it didn't come with any authenticity cards or printed packaging. It was packaged very neatly in a clear bag with inserts between all the pockets. It had a cardboard logo card which unfortunately I can't find now. I will keep searching and post a picture if I find it. It basically just had the kate spade NEW YORK logo on it, and it was attached to the strap with one of those clear plastic price tag holder things. The ad says it's country of origin is Italy, yet the inside tag says Made in Vietnam. The other side of that tag has the spade shape on it, and the other tag included just says S338 on it. Not being purse snobs, we're not sure if that makes any difference, but wanted to post pictures just in case. Overall, my wife is very happy with this handbag and can now proudly display a designer logo. The unique design makes this a statement piece that is sure to get compliments. Update: I found the hang tag logo card and posted pictures.

This is a beautiful purse for a night out or a great large wallet for when you have a bigger bag to carry. The leather is so soft! The inside is big enough that when you use it as a purse you can fit your phone and a couple smaller items (makeup, keys, etc). The slots for credit cards are built in like a regular wallet so you don't have to dig for them. The clasp is magnetic. I like how the chain has a nice piece of leather connecting them so it's more comfortable to carry, and my hair doesn't get stuck in the chain. Bottom line: this is a lovely purse or wallet. Big enough to be functional, small enough to still be cute/sexy with any outfit!

I needed a nice purse for a wedding and this is going to be perfect. The inside structure is like a wallet, but there is enough room to include a cell phone, lipstick, and other small basics. So, it technically has the functionality of a purse with the convenience of special wallet compartments. The style is so elegant, it can go nicely with formal wear, but at the same time, can also be casual. It's a very versatile bag. The leather is soft and the purse is quite flexible and easy to use with a convenient magnet clasp closure that feels solid. I'm very impressed by the quality...you get what you pay for and what you would expect from this brand. I'm looking forward to all the ways I can wear this bag. It's really nice.

What a pretty little shoulder bag! The perforations are nice, clean cuts. The bag is small but there are two exterior slip pockets and card pockets and another slip pocket inside for bills. Can fit my phone, chapstick and keys. The strap is a combination of a pretty chain and adjustable leather strap. A great little bag for summer occasions and a pretty good value. Really cute and feminine!
