This Kate Spade clutch is my favorite bag! The leather is thick, soft, supple and the dye job is superb. I love the ruched design with the four spades and logos with two on each side. The placement of these are perfectly executed providing charm and whimsy, yet not in your face with advertising. The clutch is closed by a good quality magnet and has a very small pocket on the inside for a lipstick. The inside is made of a thick canvas material that is also soft and a fine weave. All of the stitching is done very well with no loose threads and with everything hidden for a seamless feel. Part of what sets this bag off is the chain strap. It’s very well made, durable and the metal is absolutely stunning in gold set against the black leather. The metal is also smooth so it’s not going to catch on a sweater or other clothing. The clasps on the strap are circular to provide a seamless feel to the design and the whole thing goes into a protective pouch which I deeply appreciate. Although it looks small in the pictures, there is enough room for a small makeup bag, a low profile wallet, keys, a hankie, a pair of driving gloves for those cold winter mornings and a large phone. In fact, you likely could get a mini tablet in it if you wanted to. It’s a great bag that is going to pair well with a ton of outfits from an evening out, to the office and everything in-between. This bag is worth every penny in its charming design, construction and high quality materials used. If properly taken care of with the occasional leather cream, this clutch will last for years. I also added (but not included) a flower purse charm that I feel added that sunflower vibe to make it my own. I would give it 10 stars if I could!
