Really nice looking tray!! And perfect color/ size for my needs. I expected to use this attractive tray to place my coffee maker in to catch condensation & the occassional mishap that happens when everything isn’t lined up correctly during brewing process. But tray arrived damaged—chipped and loose handles—VERY POORLY packaged for shipping—wrapped in a clear plastic bag inside a large packing box with no protection other than a thin piece of brown paper—bubble wrap and or a second box should have been used...I suspect it is a fragile tray that would not stand up to real use as a serving tray. Seems like it would chip easily. Very unfortunate that seller didn’t package correctly—Unfortunately, I can’t recommend as a gift or a purchase due to packing issue. Bought this unknowingly there’s no return policy. Was looking for a prop to use continuously for pictures but the quality is so terrible I had to scratch that idea. The product pictures show a very sleek tray but in person it looks more rustic style. The handles wobble when you pick it up, I guess that’s why they only consider it “decorative.” I’d give zero stars for how bloody expensive it is but sure, have one star for design you couldn’t pull off. ... show more

This is a nice looking tray, I bought it for my daughter she really likes it. I would NOT buy another one for myself or ANYONE else. This tray has a horrible musty stinky odor. The box it was shipped in smelled, so did the inside packaging, and the tray was rancid! I tried leaving it outside overnight, I rubbed peppermint oil on the bottom and NOTHING worked! It smells like it has been on a stinky cargo ship from China for a very long time! My daughter was using it on a covered patio area of her home, so she was ok with it I visited a week later, and as soon as I stepped onto the patio I smelled it! My daughter likes the look of it so she is hopeful that the odor will dissipate over time. I on the other hand feel ripped off! This was $44.00 and it REEKS! I will never buy another one! I would have preferred to return it, but my daughter liked the way it looked despite the odor. My advice to anyone considering this tray, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ... show more

I had to order this tray twice. The first time I ordered the tray, I received a picture frame instead. I really needed the tray asap, so I requested a return and immediately ordered the tray again. The tray from the 2nd order arrived broken in the handle area. I did not want to have to go through the process again of a return and reorder so I put tape and decorated the tray to where you can't tell the tray is defective. I used this on our coffee table to style it. So far it’s really pretty and seems of decent quality. I used a combination of blues, neutrals, and pinks in out living room, and this made for an excellent addition. I’m not sure if you put anything wet on it if it would hold up as a serving tray, and it might slide around because it’s very slick, but it’s really nice for dry items on a stylized table. ... show more

This try is beautiful, but I was under the impression from the description that the whole wooden tray was covered in a glossy finish. It is not! The bottom does not have a glossy finish. The tray was dusty on the bottom and I went to wipe off the dust with a paper towel and the towel was covered in blue paint. I am going to have to put something underneath the tray because I am afraid that the blue paint with leave a mark on my counter. The gold leaf has visible seams, and there are rub marks on the sides that contrast with the gleam of the overall tray (read: they do not look like an. Intentional antiqued effect, rather just gold leaf that was rubbed during shipping). When I first picked it up, the mirror also moved/rattled.
