  • Great concept but needs work
The reason my review is so low is because of the fact that you've got to jump through a dozen hoops, just to get this thing to work. And I have identified a few safety issues. When I finally got it to work it only worked for about thirty minutes and then it stopped working.Customer services is virtually non existent (i tried). The instruction manual is written in a way that is vague in the places where it matters most. It's really specific about the physical aspect of putting things together. But vague about how the computer and headset portions are done. I still haven't figured out how to get the nexus to work. And from what i'm reading on it, I might not even need it. The sensor that is located on the treadmill itself for up and down motion is positioned in such a way that you literally have to dismantle the top cover of the treadmill So that you can sync it. Which is fine until you're forced to troubleshoot or replace. I have had to re-sync it at least a dozen times. why would you put it so that you have to take it apart to re-sync it.Why did you not just put the plug on the side that faces inward and put a hole there so that you can just plug it in? That way there will be less chance of a customer accidentally breaking something or hurting themselves trying to re-sync a sensor. Because the three sixty swivel does not appear to have a locking mechanism to prevent it from moving while i'm trying to remove and reinstall. When syncing the sensors to my meta headset, the instructions provided in the headset app were incorrect and as a result, it took me 2 days.I could not get it to hook to my headset because the instructions in the headset tell me to plug it into my phone. Eventually i got the bright idea not to plug it into my phone like it said and just plug it into my headset, then it synced. Also I have scoliosis, and as a result, when I walk, I cannot walk normal (I wobble). The sensors had me walking sideways. It was impossible to walk straight. My feet do not point directly forward. I was moving side to side So much, I was falling off cliffs, because I have a physical condition that does not allow me to walk with my feet facing straight forward. One of my legs is longer than the other. And my feet point outward at about a 15-20 degree angle. This treadmill is a great concept. It is definitely technology that is needed. But OMG does it still have a ways to go. I should not need to jump through this many hoops just to play a game. I'm not even sure if I would be capable of returning this thing cause it's so heavy and I can't carry it. The biggest issue with this thing is that customer service is lacking and it also lacks the much needed in depth, detailed instructions on the portions of how you actually get it to work on your computer and your devices. That is where they got way too vague. Also i have safety concerns. This is an entirely new type of technology. This isn't just a game controller that you can just plug in and play. The instructions are written as if the seller believes that their customers are computer experts. You will inevitably have young adults and children using these. You need to simplify the set up process as much as possible. Because we are not computer experts. And please, for the love of god put a safety lock on that three sixty rotating bar before someone hurts themselves, trying to assemble it, get up on it, or troubleshoot it. You have a slippery surface with no way to really support yourself when getting on and off. Because the three hundred and sixty degree rotating mechanism moves freely you can't really use it for support when getting on and off. I fell twice because my foot slipped while trying to get on. The first time both my feet literally came right out from under me.Because I couldn't hold myself steady.Because the bar constantly moves. You can't have anything around this when using it. So nothing to grab onto. The bar is literally the only thing you have to grab onto when you're getting on and off. The bar moving is what caused me to fall. I was holding the bar to steady myself while I got on. My foot slipped a little bit, and when I tried to use the bar to steady myself the bar moved putting me completely off balance and caused my feet to fly right out from under me and i fell backwards. Thankfully i caught myself because i was still holding the bar, but what if I had not been able to catch myself. If I had not still been holding that bar causing me to fall downward instead of continuing to fall backwards, I would have fallen completely off the treadmill and landed on my upper back or my neck. With my full body weight. Because that's how I fell. I am much more careful getting on and off now. There needs to be a safety lock put in place to prevent it from rotating when you're getting on and off. If you're not strapped in, it needs to be locked! Or someone will get hurt. Slips and falls are inevitable on these things. Because of the way they are designed. ... show more
