we didn't use this heater because the car is too low & we couldn't easily get to the oil pan...also, the cord on the device is very short so a long extension cord is necessary...since the truck is outside, this device wasn't very practical for the truck even tho' under carriage access was easier...

    • This heats up the oil in the oil pan very well!!
When my diesel tractors or trucks need to be driven, these magnetic heaters will allow the oil to be thin and the 200 watts will keep the oil thin and the heat rises through the engine. Then it starts the next morning even when it's around zero degrees here at high altitude in Colorado! My Ram pickup with a Cummins will not suck up oil when it's below 10 degrees unless I leave this magnetic heater on the oil pan overnight. ... show more

The heater worked for about 2 weeks. I went to check my air compressor yesterday. Noticed the heater was not working. Very disappointing 😞. Wouldn't recommend buying this product again.

I am very pleased with this product im on the 2nd one only because i left it on for 2 weeks and i shouldn't have, but it does the job and my snow blower starts right up every time,, if i need to blow snow i plug it 2 to 3 hrs. ahead of time, its a life saver for me because i don't have the arm strength to pull the chords fast enough anymore, its great for men and women that are getting up their in age. i love it!!! ... show more
