The scent was not a fascinating experienced. At first I thought it was mishandling of the item, but as I read the reviews, it is suppose to be normal. If you want the scent to go away in a few hours, I would suggest leaving it to air out in front of a fan. If not, the smell will disappear in a few days. The packaging is wonderful, I warn you, open it in the box or outside as little threads will fall out all over. Not that bad, but it’ll be obvious you need to vacuum after unpacking it. I didn’t use the string lights but I am sure it would had been wonderful, but they are exceptionally wonderful on their own as well. I plan to hang them around my bedroom wall and windows for spring and again for creating a scenic setting. **One warning though, don’t let the item touch water. Apparently it leaves green stains, removable, but unnecessary extra work.**

These lights are wonderful and bright. The vines look excellent. Just know that the lights are battery powered only. There is no option to plug them in.

I wanted to love these, and in the end I do really like them hanging, but I feel they were overpriced and of disappointing quality. One of the promised two light strings was not included. This is pretty upsetting honestly but I didn't care to go through the trouble of sending it back and ordering a different set so I made do. They were already overpriced and to not include a crucial piece, hmph. They smelled awful, almost fishy, upon opening, though that has gone away after a week. Assembly took a fair bit of time as well as they come deconstructed. The quality of the vines is so-so. Actually that's why I made do with one light strand, I doubled up the vines on the one I had, using wire to wrap them all together, hung using 3m hooks. Otherwise, I feel it would have been too sparse. After doubling, I have two strands of vine left. The lights are really pretty. Most of the settings are kind of dumb and very similiar to each other but slow glow and constant are nice. Wish they had a timer though. Overall, I like these enough but for the price would purchase elsewhere. I saw later that Walmart and Target sell them for less, already assembled, for the same or less.

I AM IN LOVEEEEE!!! I must have misread and didn't expect the strands to come ibdividally, however I think it works out for the better. The lights are extremely long, I purchased a bundle of 24 and only uses one strand of the lights. The smell is the only downfall, I couldn't put my finger on exactly what it reminded me of it they air out pretty quickly. I had to use a large sheet to place on my bed while I set them up because they were releasing sharp hair like green fibers. Overall I am FULLY satisfied with this product and honestly want to purchase more 🤣 Not to mention if I want to be poison ivy for Halloween I just need to pull down a few strands!

The media could not be loaded. I love it!!!! It’s so cute and adds a lil spice to the room. One thing I will say that when it came out of the package it smell like fish. The scent was there for at least 24 hours but then it was no longer there. I sprayed some Lysol on the leaves from a distance to clear out the smell. It was easy to put in the wall and the lights as well. I bought the 24 pack. I the pictures shows my side of the room ( one 12 pack) bu the rest is in my sisters side. Overall I am please with this purchase :)
