Used this line for fresh and saltwater fishing in south Florida last week, fishing in a variety of places from swamps to canals to inshore coastal waters. Lots of abrasive limestone rocks in the canals, coral rock in saltwater, and lots of fish with teeth. Didn’t lose a single fish to broken line the whole week. Pretty amazing stuff. Recommend using a Palomar type knot with a single pass through the loop. Also recommend dedicated braided line scissors. I’m a monofilament guy, and have been slow to take up the switch to braided line. But this stuff has definitely won me over. The zero memory and limpness of the line allows for much longer, smoother casting than mono ever could. It’s very good line for the money. ... show more

Great line, I use it for saltwater fly line backing in 30lb, and for inshore spinning I use it in 12, and 20lb. No issues yet, and the price makes it an incredible value. Nowadays most fishing line is made in the same half dozen factories anyway, so I am really happy with the KastKing for the price.

Big box stores braided line is expensive for someone like me that has a lot of combos to prep each season, found this kast king brand a few years back and I’ve stuck to it ever since. It’s strong, small in dia, and affordable. (In the past I’d used P-line and Spiderwire) I fish religiously, salt and fresh, multi-species. So I have a variety of set ups that I Use the braid for, from 15-60# braid. I use their flouro carbon as well. After buying the line and being happy with it, I’ve also bough a couple rods and reels that I’m pretty happy with. I purchased a few of these, this review is for the gray color. I've used it for a while now and have no complaints. While I have not caught any monsters on this line yet, it has held up just fine with other catches and a pretty big weight while casting.
