  • let me connect my old mixer (analog only) to my audio interface (usb to computer).
Style: Male Size: 3.3Feet
Seem low noise. Let me get rid of a cheap noisy switcher and bring my old analog mixer back into service. I have a USB interface for audio to PC, but it has limited inputs. So I bring multiple lines into my mixer, and use the Mixer output to the PC and speakers through the interface (see the grey and orange cables). But what about PC audio? Especially software or USB based audio? I bring that back into the board from the USB with this new cable. Now my PC sounds can be an additional input. Yup it worked. ... show more

  • 30 Day Results: Reliable Cord. No Issues.
Style: Male Size: 10Feet
I picked this cord up as a spare for my amateur recording setup. It worked great with my guitars and soundboard, working exactly as expected. The shielding is thick rubber and the cable is still flexible. It does tend to want to coil back up so it's about a foot shorter at the end of the day. The connectors are big and require a bit of force in and out, while it's a mixed bag to deal with, the quality is better as a result. Recommended! ... show more

  • Works fine
Style: Male Size: 10Feet
Worked great for the task needed, not something that I’ll use a lot but worked when I needed it. Doesn’t feel like the best quality thus the 4 stars, but it also reflects in the price

  • It’s fair (and balanced)
Style: Male Size: 10Feet
I use this to run a guitar multi-effects pedal with balanced TRS outputs into the XLR input of a mixer or PA. No issues with noise or sound quality, but the question is it’s durability. It’s working fine so far, with the caveats that 1) I’ve only used it for a few weeks, and 2) it’s for home use only. Construction is…sort of okay? On one end, the cable runs into a plastic bushing with strain relief. This screws into a thin metal housing/barrel surrounding the XLR pins. This end is user serviceable if the the soldering fails. On the other end, the cable runs into what looks like a sealed plastic casing surrounding the connection to the TRS plug. There’s a thin metal jacket that screws over the casing. This end does not seem to be serviceable. The cable itself lies on the thin and flexible end of the spectrum as opposed to rugged but stiff. The brand seems to be mostly associated with networking cables rather than audio, but don’t know about it otherwise. Quick price check finds it’s similar to or slightly more expensive than random name brands and a few better known ones, but cheaper than the major brands you’ll find at a music store. TL;DR — It’s a no-name, cheap XLR-to-TRS cable of uncertain durability. It’s not something you’ll use for critical work where failure isn’t an option. But for home use or as a backup, it’s probably fine. This item was provided for free without expectation of a positive review. However, gifts create an inherent conflict-of-interest that can lead to unconscious bias. ... show more

  • Great for vintage PA rig use
Style: Female Size: 25Feet
The KASIMO 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR cable is great for those audio applications that don't have an XLR input on the PA such as one of my older 100 Watt "wedge" units of the early 70's. There are a lot of these older PA units still in use by way of a short TRS to XLR adapter that cost about as half much as the KASIMO 25' cable. In testing the KASIMO 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR cable, I really like the extra long 25' cable that can take the microphone from a generous distance to the PA. And I should note that even many of the newer generation of PA's still provide for a TRS input above or below that XLR input. The cable lived up to my expectations for not degrading the input signal nor did I notice any hum or spurious noise when in use, even at higher volumes. Overall I feel the KASIMO 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR is a great product for a fair price point and will definitely be a great tool to have in my arsenal of cables and accessories. I would recommend the KASIMO 1/4 Inch TRS to XLR to musicians and audiophiles at any level because you never know when you just may need this style cable and you don't have an adapter on hand. ... show more

  • Decent cable, works well.
Style: Male Size: 10Feet
This KASIMO cable works great to connect a 1/4" output to an XLR input (or vice versa). It's decent quality for the price. I've been using various 1/4" to XLR adapters for video/audio recording work but this cable replaces the need for those. It's a good value and I would gladly buy more.

  • Great for Digital Guitar Rigs!
Style: Female Size: 25Feet
I play a digital guitar rig in my band. This cable is used when connecting my digital modeler with an XLR out, to a mixing board into a line level input. This is the preferred way to connect a digital modeler, but line inputs are sometimes not available. Having this cable, along with standard, XLR mic cables gives me the flexibility I need when showing up to gigs where a mixer and PA system are provided. Get two and you can run your modeler in stereo! This is a very well-made cable, with low noise and solid connectors. This is a solid choice for the above scenario or using a microphone directly into a 1/4" balanced input. ... show more

  • Decent cable
Style: Male Size: 25Feet
So far this seems to be a decent cable with the length that we need. There are no complaints with the audio quality or the cable construction at this point. Looks like a great deal for a quarter inch XLR cable. We are pretty careful with our equipment so we're not too worried about it, but it looks like it should last a while. ... show more
