This top is made for that “blazer on, look polished, don’t overthink it” situation. The straps lay flat, the V-neck looks clean (not sloppy or plunging), and the fabric sits smoothly under a blazer without getting bulky at the armholes. It gives you that finished look, but it still feels light and easy once you take the blazer off. Also, it’s one of those tops that doesn’t fight with your jacket. No bunching, no weird wrinkles, no extra fabric puffing out at the sides. Just simple and sharp. It also works for dinner or a night out without feeling like office wear. The fabric is polyester, so it has that slick, lightweight feel. Not cozy, but it drapes well and doesn’t cling in a weird way. It also packs nicely, which I appreciate, because I hate fussy tops that wrinkle the second you look at them. Fit felt true to size on me. I usually wear a US 16/XL and am 5’7”. I machine washed it and it came out looking the same, no drama, which is always the real test. I am 5'4" and weigh 180 and have a size 40D chest. I got a size LARGE and while it visually looks fine, it feels tight in the chest. I wish I would have sized up. - The material does not stretch AT ALL. - It does feel nice on as the fabric feels silky. Label says it is 100% polyester.

This blouse is absolutely gorgeous and fits true to size. The print is modern and stylish, and the "Glacier" color is really unique and pretty in person. I love the strappy V-neck detail; it adds a little bit of edge to an otherwise classic silhouette. The fabric is lightweight and flows nicely, making it super comfortable to wear even on warmer days. The strappy detail at the V-neck adds a stylish touch but for the $40 price I could buy 2 shirts of similar quality, so you're definitely paying for the brand name. It's thin and looks nice under a cardigan or jacket. It washed up well in cold water and I hung it to dry- no wrinkles, no shrinkage. I am providing my honest review as part of the Vine Program. I purchased this Karl Lagerfeld women's strappy V-neck blouse so wear to the office under a nice shrug/blazer. This is my first time ordering from this brand and I'm happy to report that the sizing is spot on. For reference I'm 5'2", wear a size 10 with a 40C bust and this fits nicely, albeit tighter on top, with some flow around my problem area. This blouse is double lined in the front but doesn't make it bulkier which is nice. There is no stretch to the shirt so I'm happy that I got the sizing correct. The strappy front detail really makes the shirt and the V-neck portion isn't low cut at all. The pattern reminds me of my family's old cushions but its very versatile to pair with blues, browns, and khakis. This is a good layering shirt and reminds me of the Hudson style. Overall very pleased with this shirt even if the price point is rather high. ... show more

I honestly did not think I’d like this top. Straight out of the package it looked kind of dated. WRONG! It is really cute on! The Karl Lagerfield quality you expect at such a great price. The satin feels good quality - medium weight and good drape that skims your figure and doesn’t cling to the wrong places. I like the detailed strappy area, which elevates it from a basic blouse to something that you can wear to work and then out for dinner. I didn’t notice any loose threads or stitching.
