The media could not be loaded. It’s been a year now since I got this karaoke machine, so I feel like it is time to give my personal review on this thing. I’m not really good with words but I’ll try to be precise and honest. My husband bought this for me last Christmas. Pretty little box of awesomeness. It’s one of the best things that my husband had gifted me and i just love it so much! I love that it is light, I can carry it everywhere. I love that there are several options to play karaoke but most of all, i love love love that it’s bluetooth able since I get all my karaoke music from youtube. I just connect either my laptop, ipad or phone and voila! I can sing to my heart’ content! Although i just had a slight problem about the bluetooth connection at first because you can’t connect more than one devices. So you just gotta have to turn off or disable the bluetooth of the other device that you connected it to so you can connect another one. But since I figured it out long ago, I am good to go. The microphones are amazing too! I love the little echo or reverb going on when I sing, it makes me feel like a real singer. LOL! But if you don’t want the echos you can turn that down instead. The speaker is really great as well, it’s kind of on par with my Bose® SoundLink Color Wireless Bluetooth Speaker II when it comes to the clarity and wholesomeness of the sound. We love this machine. Affordable and perfect for home family use. But, check it out completely as soon as you get it. One of the mic’s didn’t work (this seems a common prob from other reviews). I contacted Amazon and they gave a credit to order a new mic! Kudos to Amazon and their customer service! Thanks to Amazon, we got a replacement working mic and Christmas Day was full of music, singing and fun! ... show more

I've played around with a lot of Karaoke machines in bars, but never a home use system. This little system is amazing. Bought this for my young daughters for Christmas who love singing and are actually pretty good. It looks pretty complex at 1st, but once you figure it out, its actually really easy. My 7 year old daughter can work it just fine on her own. Not a big fan of the CD with the 300 songs on it, but they aren't bad. There are better Karaoke CDs that you could get for it. I bought 2 Disney Karaoke CDs for my girls and they work great on this machine. Having 2 microphones is great, the built in speaker is amazing, so crisp and clear. We haven't tried plugging it up to a big screen TV yet, but the built in monitor is very crisp and clear as well. Would definitely recommend this to others. Again, I can't compare it to other home systems, as I've never had one, but I do like it better than many of the systems I have seen and used at bars. ... show more

    • Fine for parties or for just singing. Terrible fore recording.
I got this as a gift, though it was on my Wishlist so I did pick it out. The machine is fine for parties or for your kids, or just playing around. It has good loud sound and can play a variety of media. It comes with many old folk or standard songs .The recording feature sucks. You have to turn the balance down to one side, and then you have sing loudly into the mic, and only at the top. Even still, your voice will sometimes be too quiet or too loud, and it will go in and out. I've had machines like this. They're not good for recording. If you want to record yourself singing, you're better off getting a more expensive machine, like the pros use, or getting software for your computer or an app for your phone. This is so much fun for the whole family, once you get over the initial stage fright and give it a try. I wanted to make sure I got a stand alone unit with a screen that can be connected to a tv if I want. And the blue tooth is essential. I can get karaoke songs for free on my smart phone.     • Junk. Defective right out of the box.
This malfunctioned right out of the box! The music would only play for about 60 seconds before cutting out. This happens regardless of the source, disc or bluetooth. The amp that drives the mic was OK, but the one that drives the music was defective. I thought about trying a replacement unit, but noticed the unit ONLY HAS A 90 DAY Warranty. Karaoke USA clearly does not have any confidence in their own products!! I'm getting a refund, and based on the number of reviews with similar experiences, I suggest you try another brand. ... show more

    • Problems with both machines I ordered
This was a Christmas present for my boys. We set it up and was disappointed to notice that when the microphones were plugged into one of the mic inputs there was a loud humming noise created. We sent it back and just received the replacement yesterday. The boys were excited for me get it up and running. This time no problem with the microphone inputs but rather this time an issue with the screen! There is a permanent "1" and "0" that appear on the corner of the screen.
