This little makeup palette set is ridiculously cute — it looks like a tiny book, and honestly that alone made me smile. Inside, the shades are surprisingly well thought out. There’s a great mix of colors that work across a lot of skin tones, and everything plays nicely together without any oddball shades you’ll never touch. The shimmers are my favorite part, especially the highlighters. They catch the light beautifully without going overboard. And the lip colors tucked in the back? Perfect for both lips and cheeks, with that soft, blendable finish that makes you feel like you’ve put in more effort than you actually have. The pigmentation is solid across the board — in that “use a tiny bit and you’re good” kind of way — and nothing fades into nothingness. For the price, it’s an absolute steal. I honestly don’t have a single complaint about it!

I'm always excited to review cosmetics products and this set is really interesting! I'm going to be blunt, the product quality is overshadowed by the appearance and presentation of the book "pages" of makeup types. The item is exactly as it is pictured, but perhaps a bit thicker and heavier in real life. It very much looks like a cute little book. Of the makeup, the eyeshadow colors are pretty decent and can create many looks - especially lighter smokey eye and shimmery looks. The blush colors are strange for blush, though a couple will function as highlighter products. The lip colors are likewise pretty average quality. There are a couple shades that go well with the eye shadows. I personally don't like the face / concealer 'pages" the formula is heavy and greasy. The eyeshadows are definitely the makeup high point of this set. Overall, I see this as more of a gift item for a friend rather than a daily use item. It's value is fair for the price. The item itself is even more adorable real life and the quality is appropriate. Would recommend as a novelty palette. : )
