I always need long sleeve shirts for layering, as I live in a cold climate. Long sleeved tees. in particular, usually fit my rounded pear shape terribly! If I get it big enough to not display every dimple on my belly, the chest is fit for a linebacker and I look like a barrel, plus the sleeves go past my hands. I had just done several returns when I received these. I’d chosen the Deep Dive and White in my usual size, 2X. I was hanging them up when my mom walked in. She said, “These look like they will fit you!” I was skeptical, but I tried one on and didn’t want to take it off. It has a flattering yet relaxed (not oversized) fit. It’s comfortable… neither tight nor boxy. The slight flare at the bottom is undetectable, on. No bell tunic today! I am used to getting hot indoors because I don’t want to take off my sweater or hoodie. This shirt can actually be worn in its own. It’s simple and casual, but flattering, and I don’t have to pay $35 for a t-shirt. I want to order them in all my light and bright colors (I have a white cat, so I don’t wear dark unless it’s basically spandex). Because of the Layaway opinion, it’s doable. It made my day to have something fit the first time. I usually hang dry my tees so I don’t dry stains in, but I may try a 3X, in case they shrink, and see how it fits sometime. The 2X fits perfectly, how it is. I like how my JMS fleece hoodies are sized, too. No more ordering regular shirts with plus size labels. These are made to fit real women. Because these shirts are made with room to move, they won’t fit under a dress or tailored shirt in Winter. Maybe if I go down a size. That’s ok because I have a lot of tees that were too tight, so I kept them to use as undershirts. This goes under vests, hoodies, cardigans…anything that’s not tight in the arms. The trim around the neck is not too wide to wear under a nice casual blouse. It was a missing piece in my wardrobe. Glad I found these! P.S. DISREGARD area 1-5 star ratings, ignore them. I always order bigger sizes when I order clothing on here. This one was WAY TOO SMALL. I'm not sure how they figure sizing on this because it's a brand that knows better.

I have ordered these same long sleeve shirts for the past 2 years and wear them year round. In Alaska. I buy like 6 a year in all colors. I love these shirts! The plus sizes are true to size, the length covers your behind and stomach even with a larger chest and the arm length fits just right. They do not fade or shrink in the wash either!! Size: 5X Color: Deep Dive
This is much better than I had expected for a shirt this reasonably priced. Sizing is “different.” I have worn from a 2x to a 4x, and prefer looser right now because with a current shoulder/neck injury, while also having a large bust, my getting in and out of form-fitting garments can be a logistical nightmare — but not with this shirt! According to the all-important SIZE CHART, 5x was the correct choice for my bust with room to move. This size chart was calculated to give you a shirt a few inches bigger than your actual body measurements, for a graceful fit. Don’t be afraid of trying it. The result is surprisingly flattering, loose but not too baggy, comfortable. I have big upper-arms, and the fit was comfortable. People with skinny arms might find it loose. I wash and dry everything on “warm” or “regular” settings, and so far no noticeable or serious shrinkage. The fabric is light-weight, not sheer. The neck line is dragged down a bit from the weight of the fabric front of the shirt, or from pulling it on and off a few times if you are recovering from surgery and have to wriggle a lot — so can sometimes be a little droopy. If I had the patience I would sew a very narrow ribbon or sewing tape inside the neckline to make a firmer edge (as is done for more expensive light-weight fabric garments or lingerie), but let’s be real — it is a very reasonably priced shirt, and I mainly need it for hanging out at home while recover from surgery and neck/shoulder injury. You can take a second to adjust the placement of the neckline in your body if it bothers you, and I can and do wear this shirt to physical therapy or outside the house. Casual, easy to wear, good price for a shirt that covers your body and let’s you feel like a clothed human being. The colors are lovely — much better than I had expected. I took another chance on Hanes. Last time I ordered a few shirts they all fit different and a tad more snug. They were a different style cut - maybe it was “modern” cut- IDK. I dry them for only 15 mins/stretch them out and let them drip dry on washer & dryer lids. This one is Ok. Review stated the neck line is bigger than normal which is true. See difference between pink (normal neck-line). The price was too good so it’s not a total loss. I will just wear it under a hoody at work. Not sure if it was just from a bad batch or the norm.
