This is a mixed review: I love this shirt (I bought two!) -- it's soft, GREAT, stretchy material. Higher-quality than the other black tanks I've bought via Amazon. It's sort-of short (hip length), which is fine, because I usually wear a "big shirt," either something elegant or just pretty, over all my tanks. It's beautiful under a velvet burnout jacket. Nice neckline: not too low, not too high. So it's a BIT short, and almost tight. BUT I NEVER wash any clothes in hot water--ALWAYS cold. AND I NEVER dry my outside clothes, I always hang them to dry. This shirt has NOT lost any of its color--neither one has faded. Both are just as black as they were the days I received them. So, mixed review. I recommend that Customers buy a size LARGER than they would usually. (I bought 5X; if 6X was available, I would have bought that one.) IF it ever becomes available in 6X or 7X, I'll DEFinitely buy. I bought 4 of these shirts and they don’t fit! These are NOT true to size!!!! I got the 1X, normally my size. These shirts fit like a L/XL so if you normally wear a 1X you better get a 3X just so you can have room. I gave these 3 stars cos I ended up giving them to my elderly mother. They fit her just right and she normally wears a L/XL. Also I wasn’t too thrilled that they sent this package via UPS either. The guy finally showed up at 8pm tonight. So I wasn’t happy about that after waiting for this all day long!!! Update: 08/10/2023- I normally wear a 1X. And that’s what I originally bought. But it didn’t fit me. So I bought a 3X and it fit just right! The 2X would have been too small. Highly recommend! Update: 08/29/2023- I bought a 5X and they sent me a diffeeent shirt than what I ordered.     • Shrunk so much I no longer want to wear them

These were so comfortable being cotton and soft and long/loose enough to wear in public.. that was until I washed and dried them. They shrunk so much more than expected, i figured ordering a size up would be enough to counter any shrinking but i was wrong and now they're too tight around my belly and very short. Also, I went through major issues with sizing ordering 5X and was mistakenly sent 3X on a couple different colors. Tried to replace and they sent the same size again, seems to be certain colors that there's a glitch when you click 5X in the final order details before you hit place order it says 3X. I quit trying for those colors and instead got repeats of some of the same colors, caused a lot of back and forth and wasted time/effort. ... show more

I wanted this to wear under all of my shirts and sweaters sans bra. It is a very quality fabric, not to heavy, not too thin material. I am only 5' tall, so it is a tad long for me, but it still works and I can always tuck it in if I need too. Better long than too short!!

I like these shirts in general; they're not expensive, pretty well made, and generally true to size. But no wonder the "Briny Pink" is considerably cheaper than the other colors. Unlike the salmony, slightly brown pink this looks like on my monitor, which at least didn't look offensively loud, it's more of an eye-searing, saturated, nearly hot-pink. Not a color I would EVER wear. Hopefully it'll fade at first wash, because yuck. I buy these as huge, loose sleeping shirts, while I buy smaller ones to wear basically as undershirts/tanks under light jackets. Good thing I bought this in sleep-shirt size, and good thing I bought only one. Hope it won't keep my husband awake. ... show more
