  • God Save Us From the Queen!
It should firstly be pointed out that this is not the Legacy Collection Tyrannosaurus. It uses the same sculpt (with slightly retooled arms), and has a different, green and brown paintjob; the Legacy Rex is tan and reddish brown. With that out of the way, on to my review of the figure. As stated, this is a repainted and slightly retooled version of the original Legacy Collection T. rex. It stands around 7 inches (17.78 cm) at the hip. The main body is a pale, greenish brown, with brown patterning on the back, neck, and snout. The underbelly and jaw are beige-ish, and the toe claws are painted a glossy black (bar the dewclaw); the claws on the arms are not painted. The eyes are a nice, bright yellow, and they stand out nicely against the greens. The main action feature is the jaws opening. This action is triggered by pressing a button on the neck, just behind the head. As with most of Mattel's larger dinosaurs, the sculpt is amazing, particularly on the head. Jurassic Park and Jurassic World's Tyrannosaurs have always had a unique, immediately recognizable look, and these figures have nailed that look. The only downside is that the factory paintjob, more often than not, makes it harder to see little details like scales and scutes in the skin. If you're the type to customize your figures, this can be easily fixed. Despite the downsides, I still think it's one of the best T. rex toys you can get. It looks like a Jurassic Park Rex, for a child it's a good size, and I'm sure they'd have fun with it. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for, but kids love him.
I can’t complain too much for the size of this thing and the price I paid. T-Rex apparently just can’t withstand my 3 year old. His foot broke off, so he now has a cool duct tape bandage holding him together. Makes it look like he put up a fight. Only annoying thing is his tail that you have to pop in when you first open the box. You try to move the tail around and it pops right back out. Some times it pops out when my kid drops him on my fluffy rug. I’m going to end up super gluing that sucker in if I step on his tail one more time. ... show more

  • Nice T rex from primal attack.
The T rex arrived a day before expected. Nice condition with sturdiness and also a menacing look. I like that it has so much articulation and a cool bite. The color is similar to the Bite "n Fight T Rex, which is a little bigger than this. My only complaints are that the packaging was hard to open, also, i would have liked it more if the button was easier to press and the mouth stayed open. Overall, great toy! (This t rex is from primal attack, not legacy collection) ... show more

  • Great T-rex
My son treasures his "big T-rex". It's a great size, big but not cumbersome to play with and carry around. The paint and sculpt look great. I can't believe it was only $20 when I got it. The only thing holding it back from five stars is that the button to open the mouth is really hard to press. I can barely press it myself and my son can't press it at all which frustrates him sometimes. ... show more

  • Very cool and it's big
My daughter loves this. It's a bigger toy then we thought but she loves it. It's very durable. The packaging wasn't damaged it came exactly like buying it at the store. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

  • Head Dino in charge
My sons favorite toy. I wish he didn’t bring it in our bed. It’s super hard and gets taken everywhere. It likes to eat cereal and chicken nuggets and has taken a bath. It seems to be the alpha dinosaur of the pack and doesn’t take any crap. Doesn’t make annoying sounds which is a plus.
