Different fabric on different patterns

We have been buying Boys A pattern for a couple years which is a soft cotton outer fabric. My son finally outgrew the 5T and when we switched to 6T it was only available in Boys C pattern (dinosaurs.) They are made completely different. They are a silky polyester material with an absorbent material in the crotch. They are still great and hold a full accident for us but my son does not like the new material.

Horrible material &tight in thighs

This material is a horrible synthetic like nylon. We had some with my 6&7 yr old kids that looked like this but felt like cotton. The inside is more like a boys bathing suit mesh and doesn’t seem breathable at all. Mine is 3.5 and the size 4 were big enough but the thigh was too tight, even after stretching before we put them on. The print is perfect though, just wish they had been cotton lined

Elastic does not stretch very well. A little too tight on the thighs. And my child has barely started wearing size 6 in clothes and if wearing pullups, he wears 4t-5t. So I woyld say they run a bit small in size.
