Oh boy, do these things suck
Color: New Car Towels - Green
Size: 35.4"x23.6" - 2pcs
Oh boy, do these things suck up the water!! I dried my whole truck and while the towel was considerably heavier, I couldn't wring out any water when I finished. Almost all was dry with a single pass.

Works great for basic car care & clean-up
Color: New Car Towels - Dark Grey
Size: 35.4"x23.6" - 2pcs
So I will admit, when I ordered these towels, I got them simply because my husband had asked for some towels he could use exclusively for the car. We're not "car people" but we do have a new (to us) car that my husband is trying his best to take care of to hopefully put off having to buy another car for as long as possible. Part of that is every week or two, taking it through the car wash, vacuuming it out, and then wiping things down. Due to his work, he often eats several meals in the car per day plus can track in a lot of debris. It wasn't until these towels got here that I realized they probably were intending these to be used by more serious car people who wash and detail the outside of their car as well. We just aren't capable of that so I can't speak to how well these will work for more delicate work like on car paint, but at least for the basic clean up inside a car, these are fantastic! Each towel is quite large, enough so unless it was a particularly messy week, my husband only ends up needing to use one towel to take care of the entire interior of our smaller car. He says he mostly uses the softer, microfiber side on interior windows and mirrors and then the more woven side for things like wiping down the center console, the cup holders and door interiors, and the dashboard itself. He says these are just the right thickness and that they do a good job of absorbing water as needed. I did find it a bit odd that there were no care instructions anywhere. I've included pictures of the tag on towels, which mentions the materials used, but not how to clean them. The only thing I could find was the outer box these arrived in says "Recommend replacing based on the frequency of use up to a certain number of months." A quick internet search let me know that usually you wash these on either warm or cold cycles with no fabric softeners or bleach and dry on low heat or air dry. It was also suggested to not wash microfiber towels with other fabrics so as to not get little linty bits in it. Since we have just the 2 microfiber towels, although quite large, I've just been handwashing them and hanging them up to dry since it would be a bit of a hassle to run a load with just these 2 towels, but it has worked fine so far.
