    • Too wide for connectors and adhesive is double stick tape - price is right.

Once connected they are bright and work great - BUT the strip is too wide for standard connectors . Bought this to connect with others for a bookcase project- didn't need power supply so went with the best reviewed for strip lights without power. The adhesive is different than others - difficult to get the paper off adhesive, the paper sticks to the tape better than to the strip. The biggest pain is trying to connect the cuts to a connector- the strip is wide and it's difficult to put it in the connector - has to be trimmed carefully. Just gave up on a shelf because the copper wore off trying to connect it. disappointing. Bought several from different sellers ... this is the most difficult to work with. ... show more

    • can not remove plastic covering over adhesive strip on back of light strip

They tested bright and seemed fine until I discovered the plastic tape that covers the adhesive coating on the back is impossible to remove without seeming to destroy the strip, and left on, the covering will not stick to double-sided tape, a total no-go, no way to mount it~~I returned.

The sticky backing only stays on the strip if you pull off the protective membrane really fast. Also I wouldn’t consider these cool white as they seem to be closer to daylight white, and have some yellow in them.
