I have wide feet and high arches and these shoes are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever put my feet in. I was barefoot for the majority of my childhood and most of my young adult life I wore converse or flats. Any time I try to wear tennis shoes my feet and calves cramp and I can only wear them for a very short time. A family member gave me some hokas not too long ago and while they are comfy, I find that my feet slide off their super thick sole if I wear them on uneven ground. We have a small homestead and I work outside all day every day and I had just started wearing sandals or swim shoes to work outside in because all my other shoes were very uncomfortable. I ordered these because I felt like they were a cross between a swim shoe and tennis shoes, they had a wide toe box for my wide feet, and they looked easy to slip off and on. They have met or exceeded every expectation! I've had no problem with my feet slipping and sliding around in the shoe. The sole is thick enough that walking on rocks doesn't hurt my heels, which has been a problem with my swim shoes and sandals. 2 years ago I stepped on a rock and bruised my heel so bad that it hurt constantly for a solid year. I do NOT want to do that again. I'm on my feet all day every day and the majority of that time is spent on rock so I definitely need a good sole. These shoes are great at offering the protection I need without having a big bulky sole, plus they offer the perfect amount of support my feet need and are still flexible enough to make walking on uneven ground easy. I really can't wait to test these out when we go huckleberry hunting. I always wear my swim shoes when we go because I usually wind up climbing up a steep hillside several times in search of an untouched patch of huckles. The tread on the sole looks incredibly grippy and I'm hoping that is the case.... we will see very soon if they are! I can't wait to put them to the test. These are so comfortable and I really bought them to be my designated work shoes but I'm probably going to buy another pair or two in different colors. I got the blue ones and they are very bright, I love the color but they don't match much of my wardrobe. So I'll probably order some in a more neutral color for going to town. The first day I had them I wore them without socks, which was what I hoped to be able to do, however, since I don't really wear "real" shoes very often, they were starting to rub my heel. I have been wearing some light low cut socks and that solved that problem. Not sure if it was the shoe or if it was my heel, but everything is good now that I am wearing socks. Time will tell on how durable these shoes are, but rest assured I will be putting them through the wringer. They feel very durable, hopefully they will last me a long time. I really like them so far and want some more!

I finally found the barefoot shoe that I was looking for. After trying other more premium brands from Amazon and returning them due to sizing and fit I finally hit the jackpot with these! I was concerned about the sizing - depending on the shoe/sandal and brand I can be anywhere from a 6.0 to 7.5. My normal shoe size is 7 (medium width) and usually I size up to 7.5 for athletic shoes. So I ordered the 7.5-8 and it’s perfect - I was worried it would be huge but it’s not. So comfy, very flexible sole and lots of toe wiggle room! Great for what I was looking for - indoor strength training, treadmill walking and outdoor walking on the sidewalk and beach!

I bought these barefoot trail running shoes specifically for use at the gym, and they’ve worked really well. They’re lightweight and flexible, which makes them comfortable on the treadmill and ellipticals. The low-profile, barefoot-style sole gives good ground feel and stability without being bulky. These Joomra women’s trail running barefoot shoes were exactly what I was looking for. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box and provide that true barefoot feel while still offering enough protection for outdoor walking and trail use. The wide toe box allows toes to spread naturally, which makes a big difference in overall comfort, especially during longer wear. They feel lightweight and flexible, making them great for everyday use, exercise, and light trail activities. The fit is secure without feeling tight, and the zero-drop sole helps promote a more natural walking and running posture. AFTER TWO YEARS OF WEARING THESE: They last a long time. These were my “daily drivers” and I deliver packages for a living to give you an idea of how durable they really are. The grip is pretty much non-existent against wet asphalt, but I remember it didn’t have a whole lot of grip to start off with. I use the inserts that came with the shoes because I needed the extra support with all my walking. The reason these shoes are only getting 3 stars is because after so long, I began getting a strange, small, very deep cramp in my left calf muscle while putting pressure on my foot in a very certain position that would not go away. I finally talked to a doctor who suggested I may need more supportive shoes. I purchased some traditional walking shoes and after a couple weeks the pain completely disappeared. A true “minimalist” would probably say I need to strengthen my arch but I thought that’s what these shoes were supposed to help me do. Well back to regular shoes for me.
