I ordered and received the blue and black sneakers. They were packaged securely with inflated inserts inside the shoes to keep them is shape. First off I love the blue color and mesh material on both colors. The padded heal is stable but not uncomfortable. Having a high arch I need laced shoes that open to get my foot in which these do and lace up to the top of the shoe making it secure. I purchased size 9.5 which is the equivalent to women's size 10. Being a man's shoe I have a little more width for comfort. I find them are supportive and comfortable for walking. I'm happy with the price, quality, comfort and style of these sneakers. Bought for casual use; I’m not a runner, didn’t use them heavily. I wore them to a desk job and at times to the gym for lifting workouts. It’s got a great look and they were comfortable until the toe box broke off of both at the 10 month mark. Durability and breathability are drawbacks - I’m used to being able to wear shoes at least 2 years. Good price and look but I’ll have to pay for something a bit more durable next round. ... show more

The Whitin shoe is very comfortable and seems very well made. It is comfortable to walk in, bike and indoor exercise (gym). But the 9.5 size I ordered was a bit too small and had to exchange it for a US size 10. The shoe is a bit heavy for running at 11 ounces per shoe (with laces and included insole). For comparison my favorite running shoe: Skecher Ultra Flight Plus 2 weighs only 8 ounces. My canvas Levi's, however, weigh in at a hefty 14 ounces.
