Not to building of the desk is easy. The only problem I have with it are the instructions. They're very unclear at some points. I've ordered and assembled a lot of flat pack furniture in my life. There's always a risk it comes damaged, or the pre-drilled holes aren't lined up properly, or the directions are obscure. There were no issues with this desk. If you're looking for a simple, white, flatpack desk, it does the job well. It's a nice looking desk. Took about an hour to put together. The bottom of the H shelf bar didn't have a hole on the other side of one of the legs where it was supposed to be. So the bottom shelf isn't all the way stable because I couldn't screw the other end of the K bar. One of the holes in the J bar wouldn't take ANY of the #2 screws like it's supposed to. I tried them all. I even tried a #1 screw and the bar wouldn't accept it. It did accept a #7 screw but it's not a tight fit, it's a little loose. Overall it's a nice desk. I "rigged" the 2 issues to make them mostly work. This is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5. I did think about returning it when I noticed the first issue. But I didn't want to deal with the hassle of packing it up and taking to the UPS store. ... show more
