These shoes are so cute! They're easy to put on and stay on pretty well, even when walking through sandy water. I did order them a tiny bit bigger than needed so my daughter could grow into them and even though they're a little big they still stay on her feet well.

Perfect summer sandals for active toddlers! I’ve tried quite a few toddler sandals over the years, especially those sock-style water shoes, and honestly—these stand out. The JOINFREE Baby/Toddler Water Shoes are exactly what I’ve been looking for in a summer shoe for my little one. Unlike the sock-type sandals, which tend to trap sweat and get really stinky after a few wears, these shoes are breathable and odor-resistant. The small vents and mesh-like design allow air to flow through, which keeps my toddler’s feet cooler and drier—even after hours of play at the park or in the backyard. They’re also incredibly lightweight and easy to slip on, but they stay secure thanks to the snug, flexible fit. My toddler can walk, run, and even climb in them without any slipping or tripping. The grip on the sole is excellent—comparable to the sock-type water shoes we’ve used before—but without the sweat and smell problems. What I appreciate most is that these sandals combine comfort, breathability, and safety, all while being super easy to rinse off or dry. These water shoes have been a literal lifesaver for our family! When my toddler first started walking, he absolutely refused to wear traditional shoes. That became a challenge anytime we went somewhere like the doctor's office or out running errands. Since he's a very active toddler, if he couldn't walk comfortably, he'd just crawl instead. These shoes solved that problem almost immediately. They're lightweight, flexible, and breathable, and he had no issue walking in them from the very first time he wore them. They seem much more comfortable than stiff toddler shoes. I was a little unsure about sizing at first because my son has always been in the 99th percentile for height and weight. I measured his feet using the sizing information on the listing, and the recommended size fit perfectly. In my experience, the sizing is true to the measurements provided. We live in Florida, so breathable shoes that can handle everyday wear, playgrounds, and water activities are a must. These have held up so well that I've purchased them in multiple colors and sizes as he's grown, and I already plan to buy more for our newborn once she's old enough. These are good quality shoes. I love the look of them. They’re flexible and comfortable and don’t seem to bother my daughter. They are versatile and work well as water shoes and regular shoes. They don’t seem slip resistant. They were a vibrant white and work as great sun protection! However; they are difficult to clean. My daughter wore them to the beach and around the campground. I did try to clean them with dawn dish soap and warm water, but you can tell the difference in shades now. Perhaps they’d come cleaner using a brush? I’m not sure they’d hold up in a washing machine. Overall, I think they were worth the money and intend on keep wearing them. ... show more

The shoes from this brand tend to run a little big. But, after a few tries with different sizes we found one that fit! The material is durable and the velcro makes it so much easier than ties to security!
