I ordered this shoe partially because of Johnston & Murphy's reputation for excellent quality but mostly because I was looking to buy a shoe that is made in the United States and noticed that the Amazon website listed it as being "Made in USA." When I received the shoe I was dismayed to find that IT IS NOT MADE IN THE UNITED STATES. The inside of the shoe is clearly marked "Made in China" and even the box states "Made in China." I was considering returning it but decided to keep it because it fits well, is comfortable, and is well-designed, but I wouldn't buy it again because it is not made in the United States. I lowered my Amazon rating for the shoe to 4 instead of 5 not because there is anything wrong with the shoe but because of Amazon's incorrect advertising of it. Amazon, I respectfully request that you update your website for this product very soon to indicate that the shoe is Made in China and not in the United States!

Seller left a nice note as well. These shoes feel like very comfortable tennis shoes, but they look just like dress shoes. Honestly all my shoes for my casual wear outfits and suits will now come from Johnston and Murphy!

These shoes can go with anything. They're nice enough for business casual and stylish enough for wearing with jeans. The shoes fit as expected. They are very comfortable to wear thanks to the cushioning. They don't need to be broken in at all. The laces come undone easily so double knot them and you'll be good all day.
