Jeans are such a funny thing, I have to have them, I love to wear them, but sometimes shopping for them is like shopping for a bathing suit: too short, too wide, too narrow, too stretchy, not stretchy enough, too high up, not high enough. It always amazes me when a certain jean becomes really popular because how does it actually fit all those people???? These Joe's jeans are not perfect but they meet almost all my requirements in a pair of jeans: decent color, long enough legs, just the right height in the waist. I found out a long time ago that if you are lucky enough to find jeans that come in "tall", everything is taller, and since I hate them coming up to my armpits just to get the legs long enough, they rarely work for me. Also, I'm pretty average sized otherwise, so to get them long enough I hate when the legs are wide enough for a much bigger person. The fit is good, legs are long, waist not too high, not too low. The denim is not heavy duty, and has a bit of stretch. Honestly, I don't really like stretchy jeans but that's how they all are so I"m learning to deal with it. These are a good fitting, long legged, narrow leg with a flare jean in a good all purpose denim color. For reference, I am 5'10" tall, weigh 162 pounds, typically wear a size 10, or in jeans a 29 or 30. These are a 30, and fit like other 30's I've owned. ... show more

Seriously… I don’t understand how these jeans are for a curvy fit! You’d think that a curvy fit would mean wider in the thigh and butt… unless you’re a stick figure, don’t purchase if you have curves.

5’9”/170/36DD and I ordered size 30. I’m normally a 12 in jeans and these were a little tight, but not too bad as I expect to lose some weight this month. These jeans have great fit and fabric and I love the long inseam. I can wear heels with these. My husband says he likes them on me. Although these are marketed as “high rise” —they are not.     • Fantastic Jeans, Just Not the Right Style For Me
I carry all my weight in my midsection which makes it challenging to find jeans that fit both my belly and my legs. I usually stick with jeans that sit below my belly, but I've heard a lot of moms raving about high waist jeans holding everything in so I figured I would give a high rise style a try. I love the quality of these jeans. They have the perfect balance of stretch and firmness, thick, but not heavy. The fit is absolutely perfect. Of course they were too long for me at 5'2, but if the fit is right everywhere else I can always get them hemmed. The band comfortably fit around my belly and the legs and butt fit nicely too. Unfortunately for me the high rise didn't work as hoped. My belly must be too big to benefit from the high rise because I still got a lovely muffin top, it just sat higher than normal.
