I bought the Jewlpire Cuban Link — 6mm, 18K gold-plated over 316L stainless steel, 20 inches — for my 17-year-old son who’s on the high school basketball team. I wanted something that looked grown-up but could handle the rough-and-tumble of practices and school life. He opened it in the car after school and slipped it on right away. It has a warm, realistic gold tone that doesn’t scream flashy, which fits his quiet style. He wears it to school and practices, though he takes it off for games (team rules), and it hasn’t gotten in the way during drills or conditioning. Quick notes after six weeks of regular use: Durability: Holds up to sweat, backpacks, and being tossed on the bench. No bent links or problems with the clasp. Finish: The plating still looks good; a tiny bit of wear near the clasp where it rubs against clothing, but nothing obvious. Comfort: Lightweight enough for him to forget it’s there during long practices. Skin: No irritation or discoloration, even after sweaty gym sessions. Got this because I’ve been needing a good & presentable gold chain & this one is legit! Have had it for a couple years now & hasn’t faded one bit. The little ring for it came off but that was my fault & that took a little force to even do. Good design, good color, good plating, very tarnish resistant & hasn’t turned my skin green, good weight but not too heavy, never has tangled on me but once or twice & was easy to resolve, durable, have received multiple compliments, wear it doing anything, & easy to clean & maintain. Great chain but is too small. I chose what looked to be the second from the smallest yet its a chocker. I'd go one size bigger if you're going to buy one. Other than that, its beautiful, heavy, and looks amazing.
