I bought these for my wife, who suffers from osteoarthritis and fused metatarsals. We have difficulty finding stylish and comfortable footwear for her. We took the chance with these boots because of the good reviews, and as soon as she put them on, she knew they would be her favorite pair of boots! Awesome news as we head into winter! Unfortunately, a closer inspection of the boots revealed some "cracks" in the sole and some broken stitching on one of the boots, so we immediately initiated a return. We got the new pair in a couple of days and noticed some defects with one of those boots as well. Luckily, we hadn't yet sent the other pair back; the "good one" in the new pair was the "messed up one" from the previous order! Now, she has a pair of comfortable, unblemished boots. Unfortunately, we had to go through the return process to get it all resolved, but it's fine now. They are good-looking mock riding boots that are very comfortable. If you order them, though, make sure you check the stitching around the sole closely for defects. ... show more

Cute and comfortable! Great sole, non-slip. Just the right height and fall just below my knee by half an inch (I am 5’3). You’ll want to go up a 1/2 size if you plan to wear winter socks with them. I am typically a sz.7 but always wear half size bigger in boots. Ordered a 7.5 in these and would not want them any smaller. A sz. 8 probably would have been good too. ... show more

Looks good but was not the right size, I used to see the "guide size" always, because sometimes it's tricky to order on line, but the size guide was wrong anyway. I have to return. I like the boots and it I was expecting for the price, so I'll order again one size down. I did it!!! I ordered again in two different colors, (black and whiskey). These are really nice boots! I wanted some boots that were wide calf but medium width foot, that were also flats. These are beautfiul and such a bargain! Very comfortable too! I plan to wear them with tights and a dress for Thanksgiving.
