These are very comfortable walking shoes that look nice with pants or dresses. I purchased them to replace a previous pair that fell apart after several years. I can walk in these all day, and the soles have enough tread for cobblestones and unlevel surfaces. I plan to wear them for travel in warmer weather. They accommodate my wide forefoot nicely.     • Cute, high ankle strap

Cute and lightweight, but ankle strap sits high on the foot. These have a foam insole that helps make these feel like they would be comfortable to run errands in, but no actual arch support. Shoes feel stable and cover feet reasonably well with enough decorative ventilation that they would likely keep feet pretty cool. Unfortunately the ankle strap sits high on the foot, right at the ankle joint and there is no way to adjust positioning without making the shoe too loose on the foot, which feels unstable. The strap does have velcro along the length of it (2.5 inches at least) so that adjustability might be helpful for someone. These didn't rub in the heel but were tight for me around the too edge of the shoe near the ball of the foot, I returned as they won't work for walking miles in Europe. ... show more
