LOL, this is the first time I have ever written a review. I had to because I saw that so many other users had an issue with the BASS on these ear buds. I just got mine yesterday. And, I was really concerned that I would not like them because I already had that negative connotation in mind about them. As soon as I got them connected, which was easy as any of my other JBL speakers, I turned on my music. I felt that the sounds were clear and crisp. The first thing that I did was play around with my EQ settings for my Apple Music. I tried some of the settings, and there are a number of them. I found that the Bass Booster, Rock and Small Speakers worked well for the Bass sound that these ear buds advertise about. So, I am thinking that the users that gave negative reviews about the Bass quality of these earbuds are not familiar that they can adjust their settings in their apps. I don't know for Samsung, but for Apple, very easy. Go to Settings, Go to Music, scroll down to EQ. There, you will find all kinds of settings for all kinds on genre of music. Hope this helps. Very Satisfied with this product as I have been with all JBL products. AND So much cheaper than the Apple Ear buds. I wont freak out as much if I lose one.

UPDATED******The battery only lasts about 4-5 hours before it needs to be recharged. The fit in the ear is ok as long as you're not doing any type of running or swiveling your head too fast in any direction. There's no way to adjust volume on the ear buds, you have to do it on the device you are paired with. Phone calls on ear buds were clear and mic works fine. I listen to music and pod casts while working. I have to charge half way thru my shift..... UPDATE- I have had them for 5 months now and the right rear bud will not charge when placed in the case..... disappointed

Do not buy, waste of money, left ear bud doesn't connect most of the times, just like a review on YouTube mentioned it, not for phone calls either, there are cheaper better earbuds in Amazon without the fancy name, which are better than these JBLs

Main takeaway: These are okay for true wireless under $100 (not good, only okay). Coming from my another Bluetooth JBL headset, the sound quality was notably better. But, I have heard better from other headsets. If your looking for a great deal of bass, this only gives a certain amount. If your listening to rap or mainstream pop, you will notice it. Listening to other genres like classic rock and oldies, it handles swell. I had minimal trouble with background noise. It does have interchangeable tips. The biggest drawback: the battery life. It is like advertised: 4 hours of battery. The charging case will charge it in about 2 hours. I know for an extra $30-$40 you can get true wireless headphones with 6 hours of battery life. Trust me: those 4 hours will go by really quick. These are good stocking stuffers or gift for someone without having to go over $100 for other big brands or if your okay with the battery and sound. Unfortunately, I am returning them. Because I can definitely say: For a few extra bucks, you can get better quality: sound and battery life. If true wireless is a must and staying on a budget, worth considering. Otherwise, approach with skepticism.

Although these are comfortable in my ears, have a reasonable battery life, and charge inside their case, there is a major downside. When talking on the phone, the person you are speaking with can often not hear you due to a crackling feedback that obscures conversation. Save your money and do not buy this set, as they do not work as advertised.

For those who are interested in buying here is a list of the pros and cons. Pros: The earbuds have well balanced sound and are comfortable. Play & pause is easy to use and bluetooth range is great. Cons: The case for the earbuds is larger than normal and bluetooth doesn't always connect easily. Especially when switching between multiple devices. Battery life in earbuds themselves can also be improved. Overall, the earbuds are excellent especially for the price. Would recommend to others.

I originally purchased these for my daughter but she wanted the apple airpods. So I kept them for myself as a birthday present. The color, sound quality, and controls work well. I was hesitant on buying this due to other reviews saying that the treble was too high. I followed what one reviewer said and I switched the size to the small which made the sound quality way better. As a jbl product could it be better? Yes, but I'm still enjoying them.
