An internal layer of leather provides enhanced strength, support, and comfort. Performance Flex Notch, standard on Jackson Boots minimizes ankle and knee strain on forward flex while improving stability. I really like the skates but unfortunately I bought 2 sizes up than I was supposed to. But I’ve already skated in it a couple of times I don’t think I can return these. Make sure you buy 1 size down than your street shoe size than you should be good.

I'm a beginner and I'm intendedly not becoming a professional but these shoes are great for what I paid for. I only use it lightly to watch as my son iceskates weekly together and i don't have to rent anymore. I love the red color. It's very stylist and the color fits my personality. Great ankle supports. Outer material is soft and not so much padding in the inside but it's comfortablely snug when i wear it. I think I would get the leather one in the future with this brand, but these shoes are good enough for now and the price was right for the quality that i got. ... show more

I wear a size 7, so as recommended, bought a size down, The length was fine, but a little too narrow. The padding in the ankle also made them an awkward fit. Because the boot is not as high as the traditional fit, not sure it was something I could get used to wearing. I ordered white—the fabric feels and looks like suede, which would be harder to clean.
