They're very tight and stiff out of the box and fit perfectly. The sizing chart provided on the purchase page was easy to follow and accurately got me the size I needed. Our daughter asked for pink ice skates with purple laces. (She is very detailed) We order these as they were the only ones we could find that were pink and had laces instead of the "one-size-fits-most" closures. We were thrilled when we got them as they even had purple in the laces. These are good quality, fits her perfectly and so cute. Our daughter loves them.

I 1st ordered a size 7 based off the sizing chart method provided, they were too small. Ended up ordering a size 8 which fit perfectly on my 8.5 foot. Sizing is an individual fit, I say try your size 1st and gauge from there whether you need to go up or down in size. They fit great! They just arrived so I haven't skated with them yet and I'm a novice so I don't whether to have them sharpened or not. I'm going to ask the seller. Once I skate on them I'll adjust my rating. Everything else - style, comfort, packaging & fit are 4 stars! Anyone with expertise feel free to view my photos and chime in on skate sharpening - necessary or no?

These skates are great. They're really comfortable and really warm. I bought these for my daughter to use at the local outdoor skate rink. She was so happy with these skates, and they're definitely worth the investment because now she won't have to pay for rentals or get blisters every time she skates. Fast shipping, and a good product.

Great skates. Comfortable. Easy to get on and off. I usually wear a size 8-8.5. I ordered a 9 and they are perfect. The sizing is definitely women's sizing. However.. the skates could easily be mens or womens if style is a concern. I am a novice skater and plan to use these for occasional recreational use.

My daughter is advancing and needed an excellent skate. I read reviews and asked for opinions and found this skate. She LIVES in them. This has been a durable pair and she has great support. Moreover, she is a difficult fit - but states she is completely comfortable, even being on her feet for 7 hours.

Love the look of these skates. Very supportive but also very stiff. I bought them to use outdoors for pond skating but the season was cut short due to change in weather so I did not get a chance to really break them in yet. Hoping that the skates will conform to my feet with more use. Might have to pad out the ankles a bit more and see if this helps.
