When I first tried these on, I thought I had to return them because they were SO TIGHT. Well, I measured my foot properly prior to ordering and after consulting with my coach, she said they were a perfect fit - they're supposed to feel tight. After 10 minutes of wearing them around my house, my toes feel more comfortable and I can definitely feel how supportive they are. The Freestyle's are wonderful skates for Basic 6 and up, I went from Jackson Mystiques to the Freestyle's after 8 months or so of skating. I'm an adult skater with a little extra weight so waltz jumps landings were getting a little funky in my Mystique's towards the end of their use. The heat molding made my Freestyles go from painful in places to perfectly conformed to my feet. If you're measured correctly for the skates and they don't fit quite perfectly, definitely give the heat molding a shot. I skated on and off for several years in Riedell Emeralds until they were so worn out they had barely any ankle support left. After breaking these in after a few sessions the difference is amazing. I already feel so much more confident and secure in these. If you're an adult still in the basic levels these are a great place to start. Adult skaters I've heard should start with a little bit stiffer boot due to being much heavier than children. It's an investment well made. ... show more

I am a figure skating coach and I highly recommend these skates for skaters that are working on beginner jumps and spins. They are supportive which is extremely important when looking at skates. This pair was an upgrade from the Jackson Soft Skate. Jackson has a chart that covers the weight factor as well what your skater is doing on ice. The Elle is the skate recommended for my 6 year old. Her older sister skated in another size Elle last year and loved them, so I had no hesitation. The heat molding system is the key to no complaint, pain free skating. The skates fits well and has excellent blades. Our daughter has been skating for many years. She is very happy with the new upgraded skates. We were having some problem with one of the skates, but the seller took care of it with a quick response. We are very happy with the purchase.

Very impressed! I was a competitive skater as a child and teen, but my custom skates got misplaced. Now that my toddler started skating, I decided to get new skates, and am super impressed! So comfortable, no blisters, nice toe pick for starting back double jumps after a 20 year hiatus.
