Most comfortable skates ever!
Size: Width: W-Wide (C/D) / Size: Adult 8.5
Style: Freestyle - Aspire
I skated as a teenager reaching freestyle 1-2, single jumps and spins. I outgrew my old Reidell skates and since I have a wide foot opted for these Jackson freestyle boots with the Aspire blade. I skated 3 times before I had the boot heat molded at my local rink. Absolutely, hands down, the most comf
ortable boot I’ve ever skated in. I used to skate on the eclipse cosmos blade w/ 7” rocker, so getting used to the 8” rocker on the Aspire took about 10 skating hours to get confident again. I recommend these 100% for ANYONE who ice skates whether you’re young and on the ice all the time, or the older ladies like me who haven’t skated in decades! I haven’t had any blisters, or even sore spots with these boots. I wear an 8.5 street shoe, and I measured my foot and the width and chose the 8.5C width for the boots and they are PERFECT! I’m not crazy about the blade and I’m thinking about upgrading to the legacy 7. But again, I’ve only skated for 10 hrs with these and I may find that they suit me just fine.

Sizing is similar to street not smaller!
Size: 9.5 Wide
Style: Freestyle - Aspire
I just received these skates and they are beautiful! I repositioned my own blade because I know as an experienced skater what I need to do and where they should be- I gave it 4 stars out of 5 for 2 things. One is that these are supposed to be brand new out of the box and there were a ton of finger pr
ints all over my blade. Obviously someone had tried these on and perhaps returned them- but they fit me like new skates so I’ll let it slide. Also and this is IMPORTANT!!! I read a lot of the questions and reviews of people saying that these skates are smaller than street size. THIS IS FALSE! If you are a size 9 street, you are a size 9 skate in these. In fact I would even get a size higher NOT lower in these skates! The pro shop measured my foot at 8 3/4 and I had to buy a 9.5 Jackson boot skate and it fits perfect- as a skate should fit - snug and to the tippy toe box... the q and a is misleading! Follow the size you are and go up one half- and if you have wide feet, get the wide and the heat mold done. It can add another quarter of an inch width with the heat which I had done. These skates are very durable and supportive but the low ankle in the back takes some getting used to. If you are tall like me it feels a bit like you are hanging out of your skate- it takes some getting used to- but these boots are super top of the line. Ankles are very stiff and will need to be punched out for comfort but that’s what you want when you are learning jumps and spins. A really nice mid level skate and blade here and the curve on the aspire blade is excellent- lots of room before the pick hits the ice. All in all I highly recommend these and it was a great deal for the price- the pro shop wants $330 for these exact skates and they don’t carry larger sizes so feel confident ordering these - just remember- they are similar to street shoe size- NOT smaller! I just came from a pair of Gams that were slightly too big although super comfy- these fit better and are no nonsense boots... so the sizes are snug even at the same size as street until you get them heat molded. If you want more room or room for growth get one half size bigger than you would! So if you’re an 8.5 street shoe, you need a 9 for roomy comfort. Trust me. Just went through nightmares at the pro shop not having my size which is why I resorted to buying these here online :) good luck and happy skating!

Measurements are pretty accurate from what I can tell. You CANNOT compare these figure skates to street shoes as Jacksons seem to run on the larger side. My last figure skates (SP Teri which I got over 20 years ago!) were a size 6.5, however, they were custom made to fit my feet. Figure skates should
fit snugly or else will breakdown quickly and make it harder to jump and spin. I usually wear a 7-7.5 in sneakers (an almost perfect 7 in traditional Converse sneakers) and ended up having to exchange the 6.5W skates for a 6W. I’m between an W and R so I stuck with the wide option. Break in time wasn’t too bad, but I’m only doing single jumps and spins - not attempting any doubles (those days are over!). Blades aren’t the greatest, but you can’t expect much with blades that already come mounted on the skates. Overall, as a returning skater who’s just skating for “funsies”, these skates have been a decent and comfortable option without having to pay a lot of $$$.

Found a wider ice skate!!
Size: Width: W-Wide (C/D) / Size: Adult 9
Style: Freestyle - Aspire
I finally found a pair of skates that fit my wide feet! I got the wide size in a 9 which is hard to find anywhere really but Jackson had them and in a wide size that actually fit my foot. When buying these please draw out your foot and do the measurements! Don’t guess. The wide is really a wide boot
and may be too wide for a boot that is supposed to fit snugly. I love my new skates though. I even had enough room to put some orthopedic supination correction inserts with some arch support in them! They feel like heaven! I’ve had them heat molded now and they are perfect! Shipping was normal. Neither fast nor slow. Jackson makes a great skate and the Aspire blade is awesome! Probably more than I need right now but it sure does make a difference in how the ice feels. They do say they come sharpened but I had one sharp and one really wonky so needed to have them resharpened before I could get on the ice. They also come with just a few screws in place so you can see if you like the blade placement before you add the rest. Be aware you can do simple things on them like this like striding and basics. But you’ll need the rest of the screws placed to do more than that. But check your blades out before you get them screwed in. You may want something different. Mine were fine though. I live my Jackson’s and I’m sure you will too!

Great quality, sizing is similar to street
Size: Width: R-Regular (A/B) / Size: Adult 8.5
Style: Freestyle - Aspire
I live in Turkey and I ordered this product to New Jersey for someone to grab it for me. I chose 2-business day shipping option which costed 14$ to me but it took 2 days for company to ship it and 4 days for UPS to deliver. When you first wear your skates you may feel your toes touching like its smal
l but it is because of padding at the back which pushes your feet forward. When you tie your skates up it fits properly. I tied them very tight and wore them around the house to speed up heat-molding process so I can break into my new skates before going on ice. They are so stiff yet very comfortable. Blade is not permanently mounted so additional screws come inside the boot. All further info you might need about your skates are at Jackson Ultima brochure inside the box. Thanks to Skates Guru for amazing quality.

Got these to replace my 10 year old's outgrown Jackson Elles. Roughly the same appearance but these have more support for single jumps. Get them heat molded to your skater's feet and take a practice run or two, but no jumps until you are sure the blade mounting done at the factory is correct. If it i
s, add the rest of the screws included in a bag in one of the skates and enjoy! Heat molding makes all the difference. No complaints at all!!

This is the first review I've ever written. Whoa. Y'all. These skates are incredible. A little background. I skated professionally for ages. Gold medalist in MIF, Dance, and International Dance. Former National coach. Haven't skated in ~20 years. I thought these skates would be great to get my feet b
ack in the door, or well on the ice. They are incredible. Solid boot. And shockingly the blade (which came sharpened) has amazing edges. I'm able to do a BLUES CHOCTAW in them. That should tell you something if you're familiar with skating at all. Re: the sizing, I wear a street shoe size 9 and listened to other reviews and ordered a 9. MAYBE could have fit into a 8.5 but the 9 is perfect. Don't pass up on these skates!

This is the second time I’m buying ice skate shoes from this seller. Their price is better than anybody else. The shoe itself has high quality. We switched from Reidel to Jackson as my kids entered freestyle levels now and they needed more ankle support. They are both happy with the ankle support and
the blade.

Perfect skates for advancing beginners!
Size: 7 Narrow
Style: Freestyle - Aspire
First off, I have to say these skates are really pretty with the crystals on the back, and the workmanship is excellent in every detail. I am learning some ice dances at 45 and enjoying my new skates very much! They do take some patience breaking in, and I had a pro move one of the blades for me to s
uit my feet better. The blades came sharpened but not fully attached which lets you determine if you like the position before you permanently have them screwed in place. The stiffness is appropriate for learning basic jumps so I figure these skates will work for me for many years.

Great for advanced/adult skaters
Size: Width: R-Regular (A/B) / Size: Adult 6

I skated competitively as a child, but quit over 10 years ago. I bought these skates (with the Aspire blades) to get back into skating as a personal hobby and couldn’t be happier. The boots are more comfortable than any I’ve had previously and the blades were sharpened well to start out with. I defin
