This is a great pair of beginner figure skate, I ordered through Amazon for faster shipping and it came faster than I would've gotten from Jackson website. The size was perfect for me and I'm so glad I didn't have to return for the size. I wear size 8 shoes and I have relatively wide feet. 8C was perfect for me. It was very tight in the beginning but I got used to it after 3-4 wears. I recommend wearing men's dress socks. The figure skating thighs didn't provide much support and were too thin. Regular socks were too thick. Thinner socks work perfect for me. I weigh quite a lot but still skate in these with no problem. I will probably have to upgrade at some point but these are great skates for beginners especially they aren't too stiff that I can really work on my knee bend and edge control. ... show more

Usually a 8.5/9 shoe in women. I also have wide feet. I followed the size guide (measured my feet in socks) and bought an 8C and it fits PERFECTLY! Skates will be extra tight at first as you break them in. But they break in beautifully. Night and day difference in regards to performance. I am coming from a cheap $50 "recreational figure skate" which offered zero support and had imbalanced blades. These skates have been a Godsend! Overall these are good beginner figure skates for that price point. They do take some time to break in which is a pain, but this is totally normal for ice skates. The leather and blades are good. My one complaint is that I wish they were more narrow. I got a size 10 in the B width. The 9.5 B was way too small and painful even during the try on process while the 10 is just a bit looser width wise than I like. The length is perfect though. These are good skates overall, but I probably would go with a different brand next time because of this. ... show more
