My daughter has been figure skating for two years (even through the pandemic!) and her foot has grown three sizes! We started with very basic ($60) Jackson skates but those were no good for the skills past level 3. We bought these same skates from the pro shop and they were fantastic! During the supply shortage, our pro shop couldn’t get any skates so I ordered these from Amazon and they are perfect! We had them heat molded and sharpened and yesterday was her first day on them and she felt so comfortable skating and learning new skills!     • Boot is fine but blades are weird

The boot is a bit weird but what I mostly don't like about it are the blades the blades come very VERY dull and you'll have to get them sharpened yourself but overall I think the skates are fine. Though I thought it came sharpened already.

I had the Jackson Artistes for seven years, but the blades were finally getting worn out and unable to be sharpened. So I looked into these skates. I love that they have the rubber sole instead of plastic (allowing for heat molding and better shock absorption). I purchased the same size as my Artistes, which is one full size smaller than my street shoe size. When I placed my order, it said that it was going to take about 2 weeks for them to get to me, but they arrived in just 5 days! These skates are great quality but it’s important to consider that they run very narrow. Especially at the heel. Jackson does not provide a heel measurement only the length and width of the ball of the foot. The vendor however is excellent and allowed the return with the restocking fee.

Love these skates so much!! But I kept sizing at an 8.5 and I’m usually a 9 or 9.5 in regular shoes. I got a 9 just to be safe and they were too small so I went to a 9.5 and they are perfect!

    • Blades are rusting.

These are my daughter’s first set of ice skates. I am not sure what is going on but we were told by other ice skaters that the metal blade should never rust because the blades are suppose to be stainless steel. Well unfortunately, I don’t think the ones we purchased are because they are starting to rust and she has only used them maybe a month of skating.
