What immediately caught my attention was the name and no it is not affiliated with actor Jack Black but the product itself is great. For someone like me who has oily skin, after using it a few days my skin was literally 75% less oily that it usually is after a long day of work. The face wash works like a charm, it can get tingly but hey it works. The second thing I love about the it is the Face/Hair/Body wash has a great scent. It's almost that of a light cologne, it's not too soft and not strong, it's just right. The perfect scent where if you have the special someone in your life close to you, they will get closer just to keep smell how good your scent is. On that note I highly recommend using Jack Black on date Nite or getting someone's Attention. And I nearly forgot to mention it left my skin feeling silky smooth. So yes, if you haven't tried Jack Black do it now, whether you want it for skin care or date night this is the product for you! ... show more

    • Nice gift set but a little pricey
I didn’t even know Jack Black had his own skin care line until I ran across these. I was able to try out 3 different sets and this one was the most expensive of the 3. It says it’s a $74 value for only $49. To me, that is still pricey for only receiving 3 items. They do come presented in a sturdy tin that’s very giftable. The only thing is that odds are I don’t have a use for a tin with the black Jack logo after using the products. You get all over wash, facial cleanser, and facial moisturizer. They are all full sized bottles and not travel sized or samples. They have a fresh scent that I actually like. The face moisturizer comes in a nice pump that’s easy to dispense the cream. I like the cleanser and wash, I feel clean after using them and they lather up really well. I don’t use moisturizer very often but this has 20 spf in it which I know is good to help keep my skin protected. Overall it’s a nice set, I’m not sure if I think it’s worth $49 but especially not the $74 value it claims which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I got this for my husband who does use facial moisturizer, wash, and body wash daily. He's really liked how they perform and I like the way they smell. I'm very sensitive to certain fragrances and many of the ones at the supermarket give me a bad headache. Jack Black brand does not. I find the fragrance wonderful and it doesn't leave my head aching. I was impressed with the size of the facial moisturizer in particular. For most men it should last a long time. At least 3-6 months. My husband has a full beard so I expect it will last even longer. None of the products have caused any irritation to his skin at all. They came packaged in a nice tin too. ... show more

This is a reasonably priced gift pack. It comes packaged in an attractive tin with the Jack Black logo. The products include a face moisturizer, facial cleanser, and all-over wash for face, hair, and body. The moisturizer has an SPF of 20, so it is also a sunscreen. The facial cleanser is also a toner. The all-over wash, as mentioned, can also be used as a shampoo as well as a body wash. The products and tin are priced at $49. I am an older female who has always preferred scents marketed to males.     • Love Jack Black products!
I've used the face wash for years and got this for a chance to try the other products. The face wash is amazing. You only need a very small amount and my face feels so clean afterwards. I've never really been a fan of lotions/moisturizers because I hate that I can feel them on my skin for extended periods, just feels odd to me but this facial moisturizer soaks in quickly and you don't feel like you have a bunch of stuff on your face for an extended period. The bodywash lathers nicely and smells great. All 3 products are fantastic and I will definitely use each of them again. The 3 come in a nice black tin that is perfect as a gift.     • Amazing gift
I ordered this for my husband to try out, and if he liked it I plan to order another set for Christmas for him. Shh! Don't tell him that! Well, come to find out, he truly likes it! He is very picky about the types of lotions and moisturizers he uses for his face, as his skin can be rather sensitive to certain products. This makes his face super soft and doesn't break him out. He loves the smell too and how it feels to his skin. The body scrub smelled very nice and did really well at lathering in the shower. He said his skin feels softer after using it, as well as "refreshed." He especially liked the tin it came in, he says he can put all of his trinkets and loose ends in there now. Overall a really great gift for the upcoming holidays. And a great set altogether. If you're looking for a great gift, this is definitely it.
