The seeds given are similar but not exact to what the instructions are given for. One of the seed packs had a hair in the sealed package which seems sloppy for a company. The inventory list does not match the kit ordered. It claims fiber pots, a growing dome and a blower tool. There are plastic pots, and no dome or blower tool. The directions stop at seedlings and don’t have any pictures or directions for how to trim the plants once they’ve grown. The dirt discs are not enough to fill the provided pots, it only fills them about half way.

The product is nice but really bummed that it is missing a piece. It says it was supposed to come with a growing dome and there's nothing.

This bonsai starter kit ended up being one of those gifts that doesn’t just get opened and forgotten. Definitely good for the budget friendly of kits. Only complaint is the vague instructions telling you to use things that weren’t included. Not a big deal but a little frustrating.

I've always envied people who have those small potted trees at home they're so cute and elegant! But honestly, I've even managed to kill a cactus before, so I never thought I'd succeed. However, when I saw this beginner's potted plant set with its three varieties, the packaging looked perfect, and it said "Even beginners can grow them," so I couldn't resist buying it to try. The results were truly eye-opening. Opening the box felt like unwrapping a gift. The soil tray, seeds, bamboo plant tags, small shovel tools, and pots everything was neatly arranged, giving me a feeling of embarking on a small gardening adventure. I followed the instructions step by step, and the process was unexpectedly therapeutic. Soaking the soil, putting it in the pot, and gently burying the seeds felt like planting seeds of anticipation in my life. Of the three trees, I was most excited about the jacaranda; even its name sounds dreamy. To my surprise, it sprouted some green shoots in less than two weeks! I immediately took a picture and sent it to my friends to show off. The Norway spruce and flame tree also sprouted one after another, and watching them grow a little bit every day really lifted my spirits. The biggest advantage of this set is that it's completely beginner friendly. The instructions are clear, the seeds have a high germination rate, and all the necessary tools are included, so you don't need to buy anything extra. Placing it by the window and seeing the three small potted plants lined up together brings a touch of nature to the whole house.
