Love the feel of the fabric and the flattering way it fits my body. And to have pockets is a bonus! Girls need pockets despite what designers think. <grins>

The dress fits perfectly, is flattering, and the purple is a gorgeous amethyst. The length is great - I am 5'6.5" and it falls to my ankles. I would say, though, if you aren't sure of the size, go to the larger side. I'm sometimes a M, sometimes a L, depending on the cut, and the L in this is perfect. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the description says it's 100% cotton, which I was excited to find, and it is not, it's 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It's still soft, but lacks the comfortable feel of something all, or even mostly, cotton. ... show more

This is a great maternity dress. Nice soft material. Super comfortable - a decent night gown-good for lounging around the house, however you better stay in the house, preferably alone- cuz this dress is outright matronly! I found the garment to be a little over sized, but not in the right places. Once again my friends it’s the cut of the garment that is the enemy here! Unflattering- and I will tell you why- those huge pockets protruding from the hips, and all that material up front that hangs off of the bust-the greatest insult to your glorious globes imaginable! If your short and curvy with a large bust small waist and rounded hip- this dress is not your friend. (5’4 size 14-16, I always buy 1 size bigger than chart and it usually works out( I hate tight garments). Sadly this maxi dress will turn your proud curves into your Grammy’s knitted couch blanket. No matter your body type-it has that house dress look. When will these manufacturers give women what they really want? Hey I do like pockets - but not the kind that add a tent around my hips. I also like comfort -who doesn’t - but “roomy” only looks universally good when it skims your curves- not adding to them. I’m happy to pay more for a flattering cut- and I know I’m not alone. We are not potatoes- stop makings sacks, or at least watch the Halston movie- he will show you how to create an affordable flattering garment as he did for so many. Wow, this dress is cute and designed well, I like it a lot! But while I got the dress, I tried it immediately. When I put it on, I felt the material is so thin, felt like paper. You can kinda see through the material which I don't like. And the size is a bit tight to me while other brands are ok. Still, the quality is above average and I can accept it. And the most unacceptable part is the back of the dress, two flat pieces of fabric sewn together. before I buy the dress, I also read the feedback, and someone recommend this default, I think it will not happen on me. But unfortunately, it did. As the comment said, it broke from the back. pretty shocked, nothing else to say. Last point, the dress design is good and cute, but the back past, is very poor. Kinda disappointing, plz be cautious. ... show more
