  • Good value for the price
Style: Move (Original) Color: Black
First I like sound! I'm an audiophile at heart but in my life now I'm an audiophile on a BUDGET! These are my first bluetooth speakers. More on that in a minute. I was looking for on ear bluetooth speakers with a budget of about $50 to $60 and was set on waiting for a sale on the JBL EB45T but then saw these recommended on the wirecutter website (a pretty good review site in my opinion) There is nothing wrong with these, but nothing really right about them either. They have a nice neutral sound that you can listen to for a long time. For movies and youtube on my computer, they are great. But there is nothing in the sound that is going to wow you either. Trust me if there was something actually wrong with the sound, I'd be telling you. You can listen to these for a long time without ear fatigue. If you are looking for lots of rumble for movies, these probably aren't the right phones for you. But if your movie listening requirements are more modest then these work well for that. For casual background music, podcasts, audiobooks, they will work really well for that. Isolation is not great. I think the plastic is thin so a certain amount of noise gets in. I wanted to be able to hear a little bit of background noise, things going on in the house, but these push my limit for how much I want to hear. Even though they were open-back my Sennheiser HD-229 did a better job with isolation because of the design of the pad. Comfort isn't bad and for my ears, the ear cup size is just about right size. I wish the earpieces swiveled a bit more but for my head, they swivel just enough. . They have a left and right and the cups swivel so little that if you have them on the wrong way you will notice. Bluetooth... These are a pain in the backside on Win 7. When I want to use them I have to go and delete the previous pairing, pair them again and then go to the control panel and set these to be used for output. For movies on the computer, they get out of sync. I even set my movie player (Pot Player which I highly recommend) to use the Bluetooth headphones and they still get out of sync with the audio. I don't know if it's the player, the USB Bluetooth adapter, Windows 7 or some combination of them together. I like that they can be used with a wire as well as with bluetooth. The controls are a little small, as mentioned by others but I don't have trouble working them. I also tried the JBL EB45T Bluetooth headphones, which cost almost twice as much, at Target and these sound better overall. The JBL might have had better highs, a little punchier bass but these are more cohesive across the frequency range with nothing tweaked to make them sound 'better'. Summary: I don't have any other Bluetooth headphones to compare these to but I think most people would be very satisfied with these at this price point for general use. If however, you are looking for audiophile on a budget, it's not here. ... show more

  • Which to buy? Original Jabra Move or New Move Style?
Style: Move (Original) Color: Blue
You’ll notice here that Amazon sells both here on this page and these reviews are mixed among the two models. The Move Original is often sold for about $30-40 less than the $100 list price of either model. Read on to learn differences and if the New Move (more commonly known as Move Style) is worth the premium: WHY IS MOVE A GOOD CHOICE VS. COMPETING HEADPHONES? First, both Move models are extremely similar and top many lists of best Bluetooth headphones for under $200. Without a doubt, they are the best Bluetooth headphones under $100 and far more versatile than the competition. The only downside is passive noise cancelling vs active on headphones that cost much more. For most of us, passive is great with no downside. I own two pairs of headphones with Active Noise cancelling, including the legendary Bose, and prefer it only for the noisiest of environments or air travel. For music listening, you’ll always get a more natural tonal range by switching active noise cancellation off. Among the many plusses, not only are both models stellar for music, they have built in omni-directional mics that make them ideal for Covid-era working from home, or video conferencing. Both Move models are light and comfortable to wear for hours, with a slight edge going to the Move Original since it looks the same but doesn’t fit as tight. Another rare, and in my opinion, incredible feature is that the Move models both support being able to plug in if you don’t want to bother with Bluetooth. Should your (very long lasting) battery run out in the middle of a meeting, simply plug in and you are good to go! The cable is thoughtfully included, too. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOVE AND NEW MOVE STYLE? Very little. The Move gives you up to 8 hours talk and music time—just like the New Move. The New Move Style is supposed to hug your head a little tighter during athletic activities yet the few negative reviews of it say it’s not so head hugging after all. You’ll note some VERY minor style differences such as different color choices. Neither Move model has a case or protective bag so you might want to seek one out on your own. Hope this long review has been of some help with your buying decision. We found the Move for quite a bit less and thus very happy with our choice of the Original. I specialize in tech reviews and happy to report that both models are truly stellar within their price range--class leading! HAPPY LISTENING AND RELAXING! TIME TO KICK UP THE JAMS. . . or . . . GO TO THAT VIRTUAL MEETING! ... show more

  • Can't move with the Jabra Move headphones
Style: Move (Original) Color: Blue
Bought these about 6 weeks ago. After years of searching for comfortable earbuds and not finding any, I decided to go over-the-ear. While there are many good things about these headphones, I'm disappointed to say you can't move very much in these 'move' headphones. Pros: light weight, good sound and volume, easy controls, generally good connectivity (pairs easily and quickly every time, although the last few days the Bluetooth disconnects randomly and for no apparent reason) Cons: if you plan to wear them while excercising, think again. The head band stretched out after about 10 uses and they're so loose now that even light exercise has them falling off my head. I use them every day at the gym and don't think I'll be able to use them for much longer. I'd keep them for use during air travel and other relaxed activities. ... show more

  • Splitting padding no longer an issue, these headphones are great.
Style: Move (Original) Color: Black
Jabra has updated the manufacturing on these headphones so that the earcup material is actually stitched rather than glued in place (see photo). Build is great, they look fantastic and the I haven't heard a better set of headphones at this price. One minor con is that the fit is tight enough for jogging, but I wouldn't try sprints or Anything more vigorous. Sound isolation is also a bit limited, but that's a plus in my book because it does dramatically reduce the likelihood of getting run over while out and about. All round great set of headphones. ... show more
