I have a Timex watch that I replaced the battery in but couldn’t get the back back on. I considered taking it to a jewelry store to see if they would fix it but had the inspiration to look and see if I could find a watch press at a price that fit my budget. I am pleased to say that not only did I find one I liked within my budget, it was less expensive than I expected to find and arrived two days after I placed the order. It worked just as expected and gently and securely pressed the back right into place. Comes with no written instructions but instructions/video on the Amazon ordering page. Use the correct size black plastic round piece that will compress the back cover on the perimeter and a correct size plastic piece to compress the watch face but avoiding crystal and stem. Use the screw compressor to apply pressure until you hear the click. Worked on the first try on my Skagen watch for easy battery change ... show more

I chose this item for its steel construction. It came with enough adapters to close several different size watches. There were no instructions in the box but YouTube has many videos on its use.

Product works as described but the pieces being made out of plastic might be an issue for some. I switch to ising rubber pieces and it works fine removing glass
