Perfect formal gown for a mature woman, with enough bling to make me feel elegant. Beading on bodice and three quarter sleeves add the right amount of glamour. Petite size is perfect length for short heels, without needing alterations. I’m 5 ft. 1”, and weigh 145 lbs. and could wear the 14 Petite, however since the dress has no zipper and slips over the head I ordered the Petite 16. I did not want to have it too tight. The reviews said that the beads would pop off if the dress was overly stretched. That being said, the beading is well sewn. The V-neck does not show cleavage on a doubleD so that was a nice surprise, as those days are behind me. I can look forward to dancing at the Mardi Gras ball while feeling very comfortable in my gown. ... show more

This dress is really beautiful. It was just too tight in the bust for me and i wish it fit me as it is really pretty. it was no problem to return this for a refund unlike another dress I bought through Amazon. That "seller" offered me a $10.00 refund on that dress so at least with this company you will get your total refund and not get ripped off. This dress is much better quality than the one I can't get refunded for. Be careful when ordering so you know you can return it for a full refund. ... show more
