SO I love this in my Barbie house but, like the other reviews have said, it is not very sturdy. I would not recommend this for a Childs dollhouse to play with because it won't last. I am an adult collector with a Barbie house and it works for me. Also, the instructions are kind of vague. I have put so many things like this together I was able to figure out what was what but don't expect it to tell you exactly what to put where. It is a good value for the money. You get a lot of little things. I plan on painting mine later to make everything look more realistic ... show more

The set is nice, however, I am totally discouraged from purchasing birthday gifts too early. The legs are missing from the office chair. Everything else was okay. I can paint over the back drop for the shelf to cover the pictures of alcohol….not very friendly for small children.

    • Realistic for adult collectors
I got the home office and I love it! I’ve spray painted pieces (taking inspiration from another reviewer - thanks!) and I’ll add pictures when it’s all dry and assembled. I love it because it’s realistic, aside from the colors, and comes with a lot. It was pretty easy to assemble with a little gentle pressure, but it was difficult for me to figure out HOW to assemble it. I ended with two “extra“ pieces left over, and had to inspect it for a while to find out where they go. And to me the bookshelf piece is a little out of place in an office - it looks more like a china cabinet and I would have preferred something that looks more like a bookcase. As for durability, it’s not the best for children. If you have careful older children, it is durable enough, but no-go for small children. Right away my two year old broke the lamp by forcing it all the way in half at the hinge, but I’m going to glue it. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

I love this play set. It was a bit time consuming to put together but once I figured out where each piece was suppose to go it was pretty smooth. I love all the different pieces you get with the set and how you can mix and match with other office furniture for 1:6 scale figures. I rated sturdiness and durability in the middle only because I know that a lot of people who are going to purchase this are going to purchase for children. I am not sure I would recommend must of this for young children. For those who use these types of set for modeling, Dioramas, Photos, and other such things then sturdiness and durability is great. I painted must of the items that came with the set. I just need for everything not to always be pink. This will work great in my barbie office. ... show more

Nice office set; I made some changes to make it look more realistic, unfortunately not very easy to assemble as directions are not very helpful, also set is not very strong, I had to use a lot of hot glue, I also think the price is to costly for such an fragile set

Very limited instructions, packets of pieces that need to be assembled and take considerable clicking and repositioning. Some of the pieces don’t fit together very well, the chair constantly falls apart if lifted/moved. However, this brand has sets that aren’t available from the brand name and has some really cute accessories my daughter loved.
