Revising review from 1 star to 3. I ask for document with VIN to register with DMV. Finally got the document in today even though I missed my second appt for DMV to register trailer. Atleast they sent it, wasn't sure it was going to happen after last phone call seeing the status of it. Person I spoke to said they never had an issue about this and I couldn't be help. Basically the origin certificate wasn't matching with any invoices it lacked the VIN of the trailer on it bc it was third partied (china). I still have some gripes about the trailer such as it doesn't fit in my garage or enclosed patio the height when folded doesn't clear any garage or door. And instructions were terrible and lights came crushed. I've always liked Northern tool but they need to work on there customer service and researching their products more carefully. ... show more

    • Great trailer! Easy to assemble, light weight.
Great trailer, assembly was fairly easy, all the parts arrived intact. Great customer service as well, I wasn't able to register it right away because the MCO/title wasn't signed and notorized on back, but they were able to put me through to the people who could get me one and recieved it today after a few weeks, and it's what I need! Folds up great, just be careful not to over tighten the bolts on the hinge, or they will bend lol, and also the folding bar, and maybe grease the parts that fold. Also you will have to leave the bolts out of the bottom side of the frame which lays down to fold, otherwise it will not lay all the way down. And the grease that is included in the wheel bearings is fine, and if you need to repack them in the future, there is a grease fitting behind the wheels, just pump the new grease in until the old grease comes out and scrape the old grease out. The tow bar is nice too, you can weld a new coupler in it, if you want a different style, unlike the other styles of folding trailers that don't have the bar and just the A frame. Also make sure you take the paint off of the holes that you use to ground the wires, you want a good ground for the lights to work and be properly grounded. I would also recommend getting some additional clips for the wiring, they sell them on Amazon. Also, one more thing, the manual shows the bolts that hold the trailer halves together show them on the sides, above the axles, however, the holes are not drilled, but you can use the three holes on each side (6 bolts) where the frames go together, it works just fine. And you could drill the hole out if you wanted to use the carriage bolts too. ... show more

    • Decent Trailer with Poor Instructions & Misleading Name
It seems like a good trailer that will suit my needs. Came with everything needed for assembly minus the tools. Can confirm what others have said....the instructions aren’t the best, parts are not labeled, calling it “folding” is a stretch. Instructions say the individual parts are labeled. They’re not. You have to rely on pictures that aren’t always clear. Good thing I like puzzles. Not until the end of the instructions do they mention that if you want to fold it you have to remove 5 fasteners from the frame, 4 of which are difficult to get to. Next, you have to not lose those fasteners. Eventually, you have to partially reassemble the trailer when you want to use it. Fortunately for me I never intend to fold mine. If I had, this trailer would have been extremely disappointing. Tip: Take the time to run dedicated ground wires instead of grounding to the frame. There are simply too many potential points of failure if you ground to frame. Look elsewhere if ease of folding is important to you, or if you don’t like puzzles. ... show more

    • Product arrived damaged due to poor packing.
The trailer arrived by shipper and all packages were in good shape. I opened the boxes and all painted metal parts were unprotected and scratched, dinged and chipped. Why paint the trailer parts and then toss them in a box unprotected so they arrive damaged? If I want this trailer to last and not turn into a rusted pile of junk, I now have to repaint the entire trailer. How hard would it be to wrap each part in some plastic or foam protection? I just purchased a 10x 12 metal Gazebo from Sun Joy, and every single part was wrapped in protective plastic, not a single mark was found on any of the parts and there were at least 300 parts. in the case of this trailer, not a single part arrived undamaged. The instructions state the parts were labeled. Not a single part was labeled. As for the instructions, they were so small, and blurry that you cannot make out what part is what, so I had to go on line and find the instructions and print them in a readable size. I think there is a lot of room for improvement. ... show more

Even with some simple mods. This trailer is usable on many different kinds of equipment. I am not finished putting it together because of mods. Yet. I am very pleased to own this trailer. Thank you so very much.

The magnify glass works wonders on the fine print, that's most of it. I have heard many bad things about this trailer & I find my Harbor Freight (I own both) is sturdier & has the ability of a tilt deck. The A frame goes directly to the bumper verses a shaft that can break or bend. For those out there that are looking for light stuff, I'd say this one would be a 3 of 5 where Harbor Freight I'd give 5 of 5. ****If you are in a hurry & need it "now" or "yesterday", Harbor Freight, some stores carry this product at the store. You may have to call around but worth it in the long run. ... show more

    • Missing Major Parts-Slow replacement
Our trailer arrived in good packaging in July 2022, but was missing the axel, some channel pieces, and cross beams. We FINALLY received more of the parts 7 MONTHS later, and some pieces were STILL missing and we had to get them fabricated to finish building our trailer. We finally finished building the trailer the 3rd week January 2023. ... show more
