Edit: we figured it out finally and we love it it is durable and beautiful and I don’t regret buying at all to us the instructions were confusing but anyways yeah totally worth it I’m not sure if we have a wrong piece or if the instructions are wrong but some how stuff keeps getting mixed up I’m about to pack it back up and just return it I really love how looks in the pictures but for some reason it’s just not coming together :( ... show more

I absolutely love this shelf and it fits perfectly in my little corner of the living room. It is sturdy and instead of stuff stacked on the floor they are dispersed on the shelves for easy access and it looks so much more presentable. We wanted custom corner shelves with a desk underneath to make a little reading nook, but paying a carpenter to build what we wanted would have cost a pretty penny. I stumbled across these and thought, for the price, why not? I placed the order and they arrived looking like FedEx had dropped kicked them off the delivery truck. Pieces were badly damaged, some broken in half. I even discovered later that one piece was entirely missing. I didn't want to go though the hassle of returning, so I contacted the seller and asked if they could send replacement parts. They sent an entire new unit! Putting it together was pretty easy. It took me about 2 hours. Pay attention to the pictures of the "F" packages, because there are three of them and are not labeled as f1, f2, or f3 on the packages but are in the instructions. You may want to use a flathead screwdriver on one of those f pieces instead of the Phillips they include, and a drill made things much easier as well. I also had a couple of shelves that didn't have stickers on them, so I had to pay close attention to the photos and figure it out. It is definitely not a super heavy duty unit, but it seems pretty sturdy. Overall I'm very pleased and am really grateful to the seller for their amazing service and response time. ... show more

The instructions make you scratch your head a few times and think you have done something wrong. The pictures just are not clear enough where holes must line up. There are no unfinished sides. But after some cursing and frustration staring at the instructions, it was built and looks good. Package was in a flimsy cardboard box; not heavy duty for the weight of the package like it should be. The box was ripped open on one end, dents and cuts throughout the box, but overall everything was there and only one dent on the shelf (which isn’t noticeable). ... show more

This bookcase is everything I hoped it would be for the price. It seems to very solid and so far I've had no issues with it holding weight. It did take about 4-5hrs to assemble and I had to use a flathead screwdriver which was not provided but in general, assembly was not terribly difficult. I did find that it came with extra screws so don't be alarmed when finding a few extra at the end. ... show more
